Caitlin POV

Caitlin parked on a sketchy looking street. After asking Cisco to track down her Uncle, she immediately went to the address. It was actually the same rundown town the team had found her in months ago. The Snows seemed to think alike. Then again her uncle was the only relative she knew of on her dad's side.

Coming to a stop, she walked up the broken brick steps to an apartment covered overgrown vines. Bring her hand up to the door to knock the door creaked open by itself, from a broken lock.

Slowly walking in, Caitlin made her way up to the third floor of the old squeaky steps.

C3, this is it, Caitlin said to herself.

Caitlin slowly brought her hand up to knock on the door. After knocking twice, she heard an abrupt thump on the other side and a familiar voice.

"Who is it," it said, looking through the peephole. Quickly the person reached for the locks and gasped.

Soon Caitlin was in the arms of her Uncle. He was wearing ragged clothes for a person who once was a successful pharmacist. His hair was slightly greyed, normal for a man in his late sixties.

"Caity. Oh my gosh, Caity. I've missed you so much. Your do big now," he held her tight.

"I've missed you too Uncle Thomas, but don't squeeze too tight," Caitlin pulled away revealing her stomach.

"You're pregnant," he smiled, "you're father would've been so proud. Elijah... he loved you."

"Thanks, Uncle Thomas," Caitlin responded smiling. It was nice to talk to someone who also knew how great her father was.

"Come in. Wait one sec," he said before pausing, running in and closing a door, and coming back out to welcome his niece to his small apartment. Besides the squeaky floorboards and browned ceiling, its appearance was much nicer than the rest of the building.

"This is nice..." Caitlin said to be nice.

"Well, it works..." Thomas groaned opening a beer, sitting on his dusty couch. "Want something?"

"I'm fine," she replied.

"So how have you been Caity, your nose in science books like your father?" He asked.

"I guess, I have a job at Star Labs as a bioengineer," she replied.

"Oh, I have missed a lot!" He joked.

"You're telling me," Caitlin joined. She thought she'd save the whole evil boss, metas, and dead fiance for another day.

Before he could ask another question, Thomas' phone rang. He took it out to look at it before declining the call. "Ah, just work. I'll get to it later."

"How is your work, by the way..?" Caitlin asked.

"Well I'm not running a pharmacy anymore if you can't tell," he responded, before receiving another call. "Gah, I have to take this. Sorry, one sec," he said before stepping away.

Caitlin began to walk around looking at the pictures on the walls. She picked up one of her when she was younger at a soccer game with her uncle and her dad. Caitlin sat on her dad's lap in his wheelchair as her uncle stood beside them. They were all smiling, it was before Elijah's symptoms got worse.

Caitlin heard a thump from down the hall, it kept repeating. Thump, thump, thump, hitting the floor. She made her way down the hall to the door the sound was coming from. The thumping stopped when a floorboard squeaked under her foot at the door. Standing quietly in front of the door, Caitlin placed her hand on the doorknob. She felt something odd, something pulling her.

Turning the doorknob she pushed the door open, and quickly her uncle ran to her.

"Cait what are you doing?" He said.

"Who are you?" She asked the person in the room.

Just some of my recent thoughts on the DC TV universe. Comment if you agree or disagree:

Elijah Snow in the DC comic books is from the Wildstorm universe and has no connection to Caitlin. But anything is possible in the multiverse so, my Earth-1 Elijah is Caitlin's father. Flash season 5 might get their ratings back if they try something like this, or bring back OG Team Flash, or bring back Killer Frost, or try the Killer Frost Batman story arch, or stop Mary Su-ing Iris... The show was great, CW can't seem to get past their third season, Supergirl has been amazing though. Arrow could recover from their crash if they try harder. Legends is just actors who need a job, but at the same time hilarious, heartfelt, and original. Black Lightning was great, but I'd rather keep it out of the Arrowverse so it doesn't fail after their third season as well.
