Barry slowly made his way back to the cortex, dragging his feet not wanting to see his friends' reaction from what they just heard. It was finally out, he wanted to be with Caitlin. He didn't want it to come out like that though. He knew Iris was going to get hurt either way, but not like that. Running out filled with anger. But he also thought it was better now than keeping it a secret.

Barry reached the doorway of the cortex and looked around. Joe was awkwardly standing on the side scratching his head. Yes, Barry had just hurt his daughter, but then again Barry was his son. Also from the odd looks, Caitlin and Iris kept exchanging, he had a feeling Iris had something to do with Caitlin running off.

Caitlin sat reserved in the computer seat, looking down, twiddling her fingers, and biting her lip, like she always did when she was feeling bad or stressed. Cisco sat beside her with his hand on her shoulder, as the good friend he is.

Julian stayed leaning against the wall, with his eyebrows furrowed, his eyes fixated on a spot on the ground, he clenched his hands like he was about to do something. He felt he should. He had always been trying to make sure Caitlin would never become anything like Killer Frost, and she had just killed someone on Barry's account, he thought. Plus, he wanted to be with Caitlin. But she chose Barry.

Julian tired of mixed thoughts he stood up straight and took a look a Caitlin. She into his eyes with a sorry look, but he just stared with a neutral face. Then he stepped in front of Barry, looking sternly into his eyes.

"Julian, I-," Barry started before Julian sucker punched him right in the face and left.

"Okay,..." Barry rubbed the side of his face, "I deserve that."

Joe soon started to head for the door, Barry stopping him on the way out.

"Joe..." Barry sighed waiting for him to say something.

"You guys deal with it, call me when all the drama is done," he replied before leaving.

Barry looked at his two remaining friends, Cisco rubbing his hand against Caitlin's slouched back. Cisco looked up at Barry, who then gave him a nod indicating that they would talk later and Cisco left to wait in his workshop leaving Barry and Caitlin alone.

They sat in silence for a few minutes, trying to absorb the recent events.

"So,..." Barry started, "Cat's finally out of the bag," he joked.

"Yep," Caitlin let out a small laugh wiping the tear out of her eye. "Wish it did a better way though."

"There wasn't better way,.."

"I know," Caitlin sighed. "But at least we're together now, right?"

"Right," Barry cuffed his hand on her chin, raising it so he could wipe off another tear and gave her an assuring kiss.

................

No longer having a place to sleep and his wallet still at Iris' making it unable to get a hotel, Caitlin and Barry slept side by side on the tight gurney in the med bay. Barry waited for Caitlin to fall asleep, which she did like light, to meet Cisco in his workshop.

"Hey," Barry said softly walking in.

"Hey," Cisco replied diverting his attention from his work table to Barry. "So... You and Caitlin?"

"Yeah, I think so," Barry grinned a bit nodding his head.

"How about...," Cisco paused, "Iris and Julian?"

"I don't know..." Barry scratched his head.

"Well, I hope things work out. I hate to admit it but, Julian is a pretty good benefit to team Flash."

"Yeah, I do too."

"You two better not third wheel me," Cisco began joking around, "Caitlin and Ronnie use to do it to me constantly!"

"Don't worry man, we won't act too couply on movie night," Barry laughed.
