Thirty three

"I present to you, Central City's new frosty hero, Icicle," Cisco announced. 

"Nice man," Barry praised, "sleeveless like 2016 Arrow I see."

"Yeah, easier to control the flow of temperature," Charlie replied, moving his large muscular arms to adjust to his new super suit. 

"Yeah, and I'm sure Central City won't be comparing you with the Flash on their 'who'd you rather' list," Cisco joked, causing Barry to give him a look reading, "really dude." 

"Nice twirl," Caitlin said pointing to her head to where Charlie had a similar-looking hairstyle. "Reminds me of Kara's cousin."

"Wait, you got to meet Superman?!" Cisco exclaimed, Barry, sharing the same reaction. 

"We decided to spend girls night on Earth-38," Caitlin replied, "We were tired after the Nazis, plus Kara didn't want to ditch again." 

"Anyways, I'm sure having another partner with us out in the field is going to be great, Charlie," Barry replied, "You're out next mission so be sure to train."

"That's sooner than you think," Cisco said, reading an alert of the computer, "Bank shooting, 8th, and Park."

"Let's see how good you are, Icicle. Meet you guys there," Barry said before racing off. Cisco then breaching him and Charlie there. 

When the arrived at the bank, people were running insanely around the bank, a few wounded on the ground. Shots were fired from everywhere yet, no shooters could be seen. Quickly the trio went into action, Vibe helping citizens out safely, Flash catching bullets, and Central City's new hero, freezing bullets in mid-air. Once everyone was out safely, Flash ran to what seemed to be the source of the rapidly fired bullets, just to find machine guns set to fire by itself. 

Once he stopped the guns, he and the team returned to Star Labs. 

"Was there any footage?" Caitlin asked once being filled in. "You can't just set four machine guns without anyone seeing."

Hacking into the bank's security footage, Cisco replied, "No, it looks like someone hacked before us and took the footage from sometime this morning. Whoever we're dealing with knows what they're doing."

"And the guns," Charlie chimed in, "They were M27s, military grade. Whoever had them had to have some connection to the military." 

"Well, what we have so far," Cisco started, "is that this dude has computer skills and a connection to the military." 

"Better than nothing," Barry replied. "Let's start tracking this guy down, I'm going to go fill Joe in," he said kissing Caitlin goodbye before leaving. 

"I'm going to meet with the real estate agent and talk about a down payment," Caitlin said walking out, "see you guys later." 

Charlie and Cisco nodded their heads in reply as she left for her car. She was happy to see Charlie transition so nicely into the team, and he and Cisco get along so well. Everything seemed fine, except due to the fact there was an evil speedster trying to tear her family apart. She was furious that Barry didn't tell her, but also understood the predicament. They had six more months to figure out a solution, but they still had the rest of Central City's crime and metas to worry about, just a regular Tuesday. Although there was more risk due to Caitlin being pregnant, with twins. She knew she had to step back from the front line, for the safety of the babies, but she hated being stuck in on backline while the boys saved the city. 

As Caitlin reached into her purse for her car keys she heard the sound of a gun being cocked behind her.

"You're coming with me," a man said grabbing her hand. Before Caitlin had a chance to freeze him, he put on power dampening cuffs. 

"No, where did you get those?!" she yelled. 

"No questions now," he replied, shoving something into her mouth, gagging her and knocking her unconscious.

What do you guys think of Charlie so far, and his superhero alter ego. I think in the comics Icicle is a villain and not related to Caitlin at all, but I think it's an interesting plot point. What do you guys think?
