Barry ran to Star Labs to find Cisco, Iris, and Caitlin trying to shoot at the blurred yellow and white figure running around the garage. Quickly he began chasing after it, but he was too fast.
Soon it stopped in the center of the garage still blurred, Barry stopped in front of him.
"Who are you!" Barry yelled at it.
Slowly the blur slowed down revealing a masked figure in a white speed suit accented with golden yellow. His eyes glowed yellows as well as the lighting circling him.
"I am God Speed," he shook his voice.
"Yeah I'm kind of done with gods or people who call themselves one," Barry responded.
"Well, that's too bad, God has no mercy for ones who disbelieve."
With that, the two speedsters began to charge towards each other at full speed. Barry preparing a speed punch faltered when God Speed ran around him placing his hand on his shoulder and running away.
"Oh my god, Barry are you okay?" Caitlin ran over picking him up, quickly followed by Cisco and Iris.
"What happened?" Cisco asked.
"I don't know he just dodged and touched me on my shoulder, then left. But it felt weird, like I was drained of something."
"Do you still have your speed?" Cisco said concerned.
"Yeah," he responded vibrating his hand.
"Why don't we all regroup in the cortex. Caitlin do some test on Barry and Cisco search up any record on a God Speed," Iris ordered, giving Caitlin holding Barry up a crude look.
Barry hid his eyes before he rolled them and stood up to walk to the med bay with Caitlin.
..................
As Caitlin took Barry's blood pressure and shared a smile, Iris and Julian stared from behind the glass in the Cortex. Joe noticing the tension didn't want to get involved in his kids' drama.
(By the way out of context, but by now Wally is with the legends. Just didn't want to write it in.)
"Your vitals are fine but you do seem to be moving a little slower than usual. But it might be from the fight you just had," Caitlin said, "but maybe I should do another test-."
"I'm fine Caitlin," Barry assured. He loved how over caring she acts. He looked over at the rest of the team through the glass wall of the med-bay then to Caitlin.
Having a tacit understanding of what he was implying, she said, "I can't."
"They'll find out either way."
She didn't respond, just looked down, closed her eyes, and sighed.
.......
While in the cortex, Iris' mind was like a battlefield.
