"I'm already six, almost seven, months along Barry," Caitlin said teary-eyed, "what progress have me made to stop Godspeed, besides knowing his identity? I want to help, but I know I can't physically do anything right now. I know I've already broken down about this before, but... Barry. We are running out of time."
Barry sighed, knowing she was right. He had been trying to stay strong and positive for the past few months, to not cause Caitlin any more stress. But also, he didn't know what else to do either.
"Caitlin," Barry stuttered, "we'll find a way."
"You've already said that before," Caitlin responded, reluctant to believe in Barry's false optimism. "For the past few months we've just been telling ourselves 'it's gonna be fine.' But, tell me the truth, do you have any idea what you are going to do in two months? Do any of you?"
The boys stayed silent looking down at the ground, not knowing how to respond.
It took Barry a lot of strength to finally admit his true view of the situation. "No," he responded softly, "I don't."
"For Team Flash, this may be the slowest we've been to approaching a problem," Caitlin said. "You know Julian, I think I'll take that advice on bed rest now," she said before leaving.
The boys of the team were left finally enlightened of the escalation of their situation now that months had passed.
"She's not wrong," Julian said breaking the silence. "We have been just avoiding this impending crisis for a while. It's become a bit of an elephant in the room. "
"I mean what is supposed to do?" Cisco asked. "None of us are strong or fast enough to take August down. Obsessing and wallowing over a solution for nine months wouldn't really fix anything."
"That's just it isn't it?" Charlie intervened.
"What do you mean?" Barry asked.
"I know I've only been here for a few months, and to be honest I didn't want to say anything for a while due to that fact. But, I have read into a few of your past files," Charlie started. "Captain Cold?"
"Leonard Snart? Yeah, what about him?" Barry asked.
"What was one his biggest line of advice?" Charlie continued.
"Make the plan, execute the plan, expect the plan to go off the rails, and throw away the plan," Cisco did in his best Snart impression.
"We haven't thought of a possibility of planning something. Also, if you all haven't realized all your plans go off the rails anyway. Like Thawne and Flashpoint or Savitar and Harry. At least with them, you had an idea of what to do. And now with God Speed?! This is not only lazy hero work, but this cowardly negligence is also going to end up hurting my sister."
"Hey," Barry replied defensively, "we are all trying to figure something out."
"Are we Barry? Because last I remember, you're the one who got us in this mess in the first place," Charlie replied. "So I guess we should all applaud our hero, the Flash."
"If you have a problem, I recommend you go back to playing hero in the murder town up in New York," Barry argued back.
"And we're back to this!" Charlie groaned. "You know, if you don't have the guts to end one miserable life to save millions of lives of good people, including Caitlin and you're children, I will."
"Hero's don't kill!" Barry yelled back, "and you've made it clear you don't live up to that standard," Barry yelled before saying a comment that struck Charlie's core. "You're no hero."
Barry finished his comeback, striking a nerve within Charlie, causing frost to leave his clenched fist and his hair to fade white.

"Charlie! Charlie! C'mon get the hell out of there quick!" a voice yelled at Charlie through his comms as he ran back into a deteriorating building. "We got all the civilians out, Joker's about to blow the rest of the building!""Hannah's still in there, Bruce!" He replied, ducking a fallen support beam.
(Author's Note: Hannah = OC, Also this is obviously not following the comic or show plot since Icicle is a villain... but who knows.... hmm...)
Rushing to the center of an office room, Charlie began quickly digging through the rubble.
"Hannah!" He screamed.
"Charlie..." coughed a weak sound from under a beam of concrete.
"Oh my god, Hannah. We need to get out of here," Charlie said, breathing heavily as he tried to lift the heavy beam.
"No, Charlie," Hannah said weakly. "Stop. There's no point."
"What are you talking about, C'mon," he said continuing to try and lift the beam.
"Charlie," she said again, lifting her only free arm to cup Charlie's face. "I'm not going to make it, go help everyone else."
Charlie took off his mask and began sobbing. "No-. I love you... I'm going to save you."
"You've already saved me, I'll always love you so much, forever. You'll always be my hero."
With her final once of strength she pulled Charlie in for a kiss. Wishing it would last forever, Charlie pulled away when it was clear the kiss only ended for him.
Another blast shook the building, and Charlie was reluctant to get out.
"Charlie! Get your ass out of there!" Bruce yelled again. Charlie quickly put his mask back on and ran out of the building before to blew up in flames.
While assisting other victims away from the scene, the last few words of the love of his life resonated in his head.
"You will always be my hero..."
.............................end of fb..............................
Charlie exhaled releasing a cloud of frost before he swung a fist at Barry. Luckily Cisco and Julian intervened before Barry could return the favor.
"Please don't ice pop me," Cisco muttered repeatedly as he pulled back Charlie.
"What the hell is wrong with the both of you!" Julian yelled, pulling back Barry. "Do you really think this is what Caitlin wants?! This is what Godspeed wants, he's doing this so we end up fighting till the whole world is in flames!"
Slowly, Barry and Charlie eased themselves down and Cisco and Julian released their grasps.
"Wait a minute..." Cisco said with his idea face, as the tension of the room released.
