The depths of your eyes

Yeah, another depressing poem.

Dedicated to WattRealms and Siriusly_Black77 and briggnail and QuirkyTeenageGirl, cause, why not? :)

Your oceans churning black and gray

Your pearly white

Now stained red instead

Tears, trailing down in every way

Darker than midnight,

Your twinkling stars dead

When did I even fall?

Was it when you gazed at me,

Pricking my pounding heart?

Before you, I feel small,

However tall I may be,

Your glance is a deadly dart

Whenever I dive deep down,

I am caught in your waves,

And I start to drown

Can you pull me out?

My heart's beating faster,

My mouth is too numb to shout

The depths of your eyes

Are sinking me in,

Trapping me, slowly,

In your labyrinth

The depths of your eyes

Have caged me within,

Killing me slowly,

Draining my life

Your skies, like the thunderstorm,

Drenching me all over,

In small, soft baubles

Lightning tears the horizon

In vain, I search for cover

As my will crumbles

Will we end right now?

I'm afraid to go on,

Are you ready to catch as I fall?

Can't you feel my love?

I'm afraid to move on,

Are you ready to break your walls?

Whenever I dive deep down,

I am caught in your waves,

And I start to drown

Can you pull me out?

My heart's beating faster,

My mouth is too numb to shout

The depths of your eyes

Are sinking me in,

Trapping me, slowly,

In your labyrinth

The depths of your eyes

Have caged me within,

Killing me slowly,

Draining my life...
