Flickering images
On the mirror, on the wall
Lips moving silently,
I can't hear your voice call
As I reach out to you,
Tears flowing endlessly,
You drift away from my reach,
Getting further away from me
Still, you're all I see when
I blink, wherever I gaze
Flickering images of you
I am haunted by your face
As your eyes penetrate me,
Going deep, deep within
Angry and accusing,
Not forgiving my sin
My tears wet the floor,
As I cry for you, yearn for you
A hopeless plea arises from me;
I realise there's nothing I can do
My face a salty island amongst thousands of tiny tears,
I cry and cry again and again,
Realising my worst fears
That you are gone, forever
From my reach, my embrace,
From this world, from me
As I discover this in a daze,
I see your flickering images,
I see you here, I see you there
I see you whenever I close my eyes;
I see you everytime, I see you everywhere...
