Flickering images
On the mirror, on the wallLips moving silently,
I can't hear your voice callAs I reach out to you,
Tears flowing endlessly,You drift away from my reach,
Getting further away from meStill, you're all I see when
I blink, wherever I gazeFlickering images of you
I am haunted by your faceAs your eyes penetrate me,
Going deep, deep withinAngry and accusing,
Not forgiving my sinMy tears wet the floor,
As I cry for you, yearn for youA hopeless plea arises from me;
I realise there's nothing I can doMy face a salty island amongst thousands of tiny tears,
I cry and cry again and again,
Realising my worst fearsThat you are gone, forever
From my reach, my embrace,From this world, from me
As I discover this in a daze,I see your flickering images,
I see you here, I see you thereI see you whenever I close my eyes;
I see you everytime, I see you everywhere...
