All alone, in an empty world
I search for solace
Alas, in vain
For, all alone in an empty world,
I wander in a daze,
Alone, and in pain
I reach out, reaching for rainbows
But those staring eyes push me down
Those scarring words make me cry
I fall down, a heap of ashes
Scattered, and trampled on
Still, can't find a reason why
All alone in an empty world,
I keep going ahead,
Alas, in vain
For, all alone in an empty world,
Everyone is dead,
Leaving me in pain
Death, I know that you're trapping me,
Slowly, in your cold, sweet embrace
But my embers of life are still glowing warm
Life, you're just another fantasy
That I'm acting through with a mask on my face
But the coldness of death has an eerie calm
All alone in an empty world,
My tears do fall,
Alas, in vain
For, all alone in an empty world,
All they do is fall,
Along with the rain
You may call me whatever
Those pricking wounds are now scars
My blood flows, a red river
You may hurt me whenever
I am now ready to fight wars
All set to make you shiver
All alone in an empty world,
I am alone forever,
All those who came by hurt
For, all alone in an empty world,
Love is something I'll find never,
Pushed far too deep in the dirt
I may edit this poem later on... I am not happy with the result
