I see you every time

Every time I breathe

I see you every time,

Every time I sleep

And even though I try to say

And I really do try every day

To say you matter to me more than you know;

My words get stuck; how do I tell you now?

I see you everywhere,

Everywhere I go

I see you everywhere,

Everywhere I tread

And even though I have ardent feelings,

Those feelings hide, though my heart sings

My mouth trembles as I try to tell you,

You matter more than anything, I love you

As we continue to live

Under the same sky

As we continue to dream

Under the same stars

I can only smile, I can only sigh,

As I continue to dream about you and me

As we continue to cry

Beneath the same clouds,

As we continue to smile

Beneath the same sun,

I can only think, I can only imagine,

I can only dream about you and me

Because you are just a beautiful dream,

So perfectly wonderful, and impossible

That shrivels and dies when I wake;

So unbelievably unreal, and unbelievably untrue

Under the same sky, under the same stars,

I continue to live, I continue to dream

I continue to cry, dying inside;
