Dedicated to moonlightpoetgirl I have often noticed that in your poems you say that you feel like you are in the dark. I hope this little poem of mine will give you some light :)
How can your soul be in darkness When I can see it through your beautiful words Glimmering like the star filled sky at night Tiny dots of light in the stormy ocean
How can your heart be in darkness, A transparent, clean crystal clear heart That is pure and reflects who you really are, Deep inside, without anything to hide
How can your mind be in darkness, A marvelous mind with marvelous thoughts, Brimming with a river of marvelous words, Carrying me away to other worlds
No, you are not to be trapped in eternal darkness, You are simply under a passing cloud That will soon drift away, as the starlight falls On you, welcoming you to eternal light
Don't let your cloud hide your starlight Don't let your doubts hide your hopes Don't let your fears hide your courage Don't let your dark hide your light
Come out shining like the beaming starlight Come out piercing your cloud of darkness As I hold out my hand for you to reach out From the pit of darkness to the bright starlight
