So this is another one of 'the traveler' series poems, it narrates a short story in a poetic way

Dedicated to Will_Nico_Solangelo

She lay there, lonely

Shivering in the cold

The wind was chilly

Life was so harsh

Small hands and feet

Of her only child

Lay in the grave

In the dark coffin

Her one and only

Son, her only reason

To keep going on

How painful it was

To let go of

Something so precious

A part of her

His heart beat with

Hers for nine months

They shared the same

Life for nine months

She was just broken

Her lover, he drank

Till he dropped down

Each and every day

He reeked of whiskey

She cried every night

After he left her

Bleeding and wet with

Millions of tiny tears

Her one and only

Companion, the pages

Of her small book

With a wonderful fragrance

And a red cover

She read many times

The story of the princess

Who had a perfect life

She felt jealous

She felt so tired

Of living her own

With everything lost

How could she go on?

When everything,

Everything,

Hurt her so much?

He drank and drank

It was his escape

Reality took too much

Responsibilities

Bills, taxes, id's

No, no, no, no

He was just

A child at heart

So lonely and lost

He kept tripping
