You say once, you say twice,
You say that one million times
All you say, are just lies
I was dying, on my deathbed
You shake your head, say no
Why don't you leave me instead?
I know that I'm halfway gone
You just pull me back once more
Don't you get it? I'm done
I'm melting your chains; searing pain
But then you'll let me go
You had held on me in vain
I'm mad as hell, I'll strike you dead
And sing you a lullaby
As I put you on your bed
Life, to me, is black and grey
Even though your eyes were emerald green,
I think they're white today
You come say it's alright,
But I feel like pushing you away,
As you kissed me at midnight
You come say that pain is sweet
And convince me that you are right
As red shows on my snow white sheet
Well, you're wrong, it hurts
It hurts so much, I think I can't cry
But something wet soaks my shirt
Still, I'm ready to do it again
I think I'm too infatuated
With this pleasurable pain
This pleasurable pain that's you
They say that love is nice
But all love does is make me cry
I say, love's for the unwise
Instead of falling, I'd rather be dead
But I'm too scared to do so
As I have many more tears to shed
I reached out for light as it shone
Can I just go back to the dark,
Where I slept before I was born?
I laugh as I count my scars
Look now, I'm raving mad
I once smiled as I counted stars
You're me, but I'm not you,
You're the me that screams inside
At everything and whatever I do
You're my bittersweet pill
I know that I shouldn't take you,
But knowing that, I overdose, still
You come say it's alright,
But I feel like pushing you away,
As you kissed me at midnight
You come say that pain is sweet
And convince me that you are right
As red shows on my snow white sheet
Well, you're wrong, it hurts
It hurts so much, I think I can't cry
But something wet soaks my shirt
Still, I'm ready to do it again
I think I'm too infatuated
With this pleasurable pain
This pleasurable pain that's you
Sooo... Did you like it? (:
