This started out as a poem, and ended up as a song.
Her heart
Broken once more
By many of them who just
Used her and threw her away
Like trash
She cries once more
For many of them who aren't
Even worth her tears
But what can she do but cry
When the world leaves her cold
And all alone?
But what can she do but scream
When there's no one for her to
Hug her tight and say,
"Its alright honey,
Don't you cry
It'll all be alright
Just hold on tight."
But no one ever came
To comfort her
She's all alone
Tearing up in the corner
She's so lost,
She has no control
She's just a puppet
With broken strings
She's out of sync,
She's out of tune,
Like a guitar
With broken strings
Can you fix her?
She needs help...
His mind
Roaring once more
With an ocean of unknown
Voices, drowning him
He tries
Pushing them all out
By breaking glasses and mirrors
All it did was shed blood
But what can he do but break
Everything in his sight when
Those incessant voices rage?
But what can he do but bleed
When there's no one to
Hug him tight and say,
"It's alright dear
Now I'm here
It'll be alright
Just hold on tight."
But no one ever came
To comfort him
He's all alone
Shaking and shivering in a daze
He's so lost,
He has no control
He's just a puppet
With broken strings
He's out of sync,
He's out of tune,
Like a guitar
With broken strings
Can you fix him?
He needs help...
