"I think it's time to head to breakfast don't you?" Professor Lupin quickly says stepping away from me.

"It wouldn't hurt to be a bit early." I shrug watching him. He's nervous. He knows he can't hurt me and yet he's all the sudden nervous to be close to me.

"Best way to get coffee from a house elf is to be early." He smiles and opens the door for me.

"Never thought a teacher would encourage me to give the House elves trouble." I smile as I walk into the hall way

"I won't say anything if you won't." He smirks to himself

"Professor May I ask you something?" I say watching my steps

"Anything." He answers

"Have you ever trusted someone completely? Like be comfortable enough with someone that the um condition didn't matter?" I ask sighing

"No. Now don't get me wrong here. I trusted your father James and Lily with my life but I each time I spent time with them I heard a voice in the back of my head telling me that I could hurt them if they got to close." He tells me sighing himself

"Do you think you'll ever be able to?"

"Maybe. I've learned that anything is possible." He chuckles then asks "is there someone your worried you'll hurt?"

"My Gran and Neville." I sigh "they've never made a big deal of it but they've never exactly exercised caution when I'm having a fit." I say as I hear footsteps

Professor Lupin puts a hand in my shoulder. "I know how that can be. My father never was caution with me either. Until I hurt him. You see puberty in people would our condition is rather violent. Your brother will do anything and everything to make your condition as painless as he can. Unfortunately he can only do so much."

"He comes to me everyday and makes sure I eat. Always has."  I nod

"He's a good brother."

"Do you have any siblings?" I ask automatically

"Me? No. My parents couldn't bring themselves to have another child after what happened to me. I was enough of a handful for them." He shrugs

"What happened to them?"

"They died in the war. Well technically Mother had a heart attack coming home  and finding Dad dead." He sighs and smiles "I've never told anyone that. Not even James or your father. I always told them that both my parents died because of the death eaters."

"Maybe your trusting yourself more." I shrug as we get to the great hall.

"Maybe." He chuckles the stops a house-elf. "Excuse me, if you wouldn't mind getting Miss. Longbottom and myself some coffee?"

"Yes sir." The house elf squeaks and disappears.

"Now you go eat something. And I'll see you in class" Lupin smiles patting my shoulder

"Thank you. For talking to me and convincing me to be hopeful." I smile

"Anytime." He smiles
