Once Remus and I had two of all of our favorites and Neville's sugar quils we went back to the castle.

We found Neville by the lake and delivered his sugar quils and retired to Remus office.
  I showered and found Remus asleep. I crawled in bed next to him and fell asleep.

I woke up to the bathroom door opening and Remus coming out running a towel over his hair.
"Morning."

"Morning Remus."

"The day of the moon." He sighed

"The day before Neville leaves. We're opening presents with him later." yawned and stood up. I collected my clothes and got to the bathroom.

I got dressed and opened the door.

"We really bought a lot of sweets." Remus laughed

"Yes we did." I smiled

I haven't had this many sweets since I was a student and James and Sirius bought me sweets for Christmas. Well James Sirius and lily." Remus smiled

"Oh Remus." My heart hurt.

"It's okay. I always thought I'd never have someone like them back in my life when I lost them. You proved me wrong. You proved me very wrong."

"Anne! Remus! Time for presents!" Neville shouted from the classroom

"Let's go." I whispered

Remus nodded and and grabbed his hand. We walked out together. The classroom had a giant Christmas tree in the middle with three piles of presents under it. Mine Remus' and Neville's.

"Alright. Ladies first." Remus said.

"Agreed." Neville smiled

I smiled and sat down cross legged in front of my present and picked on up.

"Ah Fred and George." I smiled and opened it up.. it was a cases of huneydukes chocolate.

"Every year. They get me this together and give me individual gifts." I said

"Sounds like James and Sirius." Remus smiled.

"Open up the next one." Neville said.

I picked up the next one "Neville."

I ripped it open. The muggle fairytales. "Oh Neville! Where did you find this?"

"Hermione actually found it for me." Neville said

"Thank you." I smiled

"Oh that's a good copy. In good condition.." Remus said

"Next one."

I picked up the next one "George." I ripped it open and found a magical ointment for cuts. "Always practical and useful. And his own invention."

"Next" Remus said

"Fred" I opened it to find a box of flibusters no heat fireworks "classic Fred"

"Oh those are delightful." Remus smiled

"I love them."

"The last four."

I picked one "Gran."  I ripped it open and found my Mum's old charm bracelet.

"Oh.. is that..?" Neville asked

"Mum's." I nodded and slipped it on

I picked up the next present "Harry Potter. As a thank you for encouraging me through my three years in this castle I hope you find these books interesting. Thank you Anne."
I opened up the package and found the works of Charles dickens a muggle author

"Oh Harry you shouldn't have and to think all I got him was a silly old pair of quidditch gloves." I smiled

"Ah he knew just what you'd like. I think the boy who lived has been going about asking for your likes." Remus smiled

"He asked you!" I laughed

"He mostly certainly did." Remus said "now open my gift."

I smiled and plucked up the box. I opened it to find a sliver necklace with a small heart charm . I smiled " Remus."

"I took a trip to muggle London a few weeks ago looking for Christmas presents and I finally found something that would suit you."
