After we finished opening our presents remus and I were escorted to the tunnel. I had given Neville a large volume of herbobolgy remedies and Remus a new messenger bag. I hated the idea of spending Christmas away from my brother but there was nothing I could do. I felt my energy slowly draining from me as we climbed the stairs of the shack. The cold weather didn't help much at all. Remus held my hand the whole way. Once we got up to the bedroom I sat on the floor and wrapped up in one of the blankets.

"You alright Anne?"

"The cold makes the pains worse." I whimpered.
Remus chuckled and sat next to me putting both arms around me. "It's okay. You've got three layers of clothes a cloak a blanket and me to keep you warm."

"Good." I smiled and held onto to Remus.

I heard a creak on the stairs and a hoarse voice "Remus, you here?"

"Yes. Sirius come up. It's freezing down there." Remus called down and reached for his bag.

"Too cold." I whimpered into Remus' chest. He rubbed my back and started pulling food out of his bag for his friend.

Sirius came up the stairs and sat next to Remus.  "Thank you." Sirius grabbed a blanket and wrapped up before eating

"I can't let you starve and freeze Sirius. Not when Harry's could be in trouble."

"Harry's always in trouble. Last year he went into the chamber of secrets and killed a basilisk to save Ginny Weasley. His first year his saved the sorcerers stone from Voldemort himself. This he's had so much trouble the dementors it's giving me a heart attack just thinking about what goes on in his head" I sighed

"He did what?!?" Sirius looked shell shocked

"Oh yes! Your godson is quiet the hero. The boys got James' knack for trouble and Lily's heart for helping people." Remus smiled

"He's only 12!" Sirius said

"How old where you when you were sneaking around trying to become an animagus?" I asked

"That was... different..."

"Barely."

"God you sound just like him ya know?" Sirius gestured to Remus.
