RaeJae's POV:

"You want me and Jungkook to what?!" I shriek.

"Date," Bang PD-Nim repeats as a matter of fact.

"W-h-ghh-l-what?" I sputter out of shock.

"It's just a fake relationship, of course. Only for the public eye. After what Jungkook said on ASC fansites have been going crazy," He explains.

I look at Jungkook who's staring wide eyed at Hit man bang like a deer in headlights. This morning Bang Sihyuk called Jungkook and I into his office for an 'urgent meeting' and I guess this is what it's about.

"But it's just a rumor, that stuff always dies down," I say to him. My mind is running a mile a minute right now.

"Yes but some of the rumors are quite negative. If you two aren't dating and you kissed before this, it brings a bad reputation to BTS and our company," He continues on.

"But we never kissed before this!" I exclaim, the lie leaving a bad taste on my tongue.

"RaeJae-Ssi, I have discussed this a lot with management and they too think this is the best option to keep everyone happy," He tilts his head as he speaks.

"Everyone happy? What about us? Will we never be able to go public with a break up?" The questions spill out of my mouth.

"Further down the road you two can just explain that you've decided that your friendship is to valuable to date. Then everything can go back to normal," he shrugs without making it seem like a big deal.

Well, this is a big deal!

"PD-Nim, with all due respect, I really don't think this is a good idea," I reply.

"Why not?" Suddenly Jungkook begins to contribute to the conversation.

"Because!" I almost shout but lower my voice just in time, I turn back to Sihyuk, "plus wouldn't it be even more of a scandal when Jungkook and I are dating and living together at 17,"

"People don't know that you live in the boys dorm, so that isn't much of a problem," Sihyuk shrugs.

"But what if they find out?!"

"They won't," Jungkook answers.

"Aish, I'm sorry, I just really don't agree with this. I need to clear my head for a moment," I say, getting up and practically storming out of the room.

The hallway to the stairwell feels longer than usual as I attempt to sort my thoughts out. Jungkook and I dating? I mean that's just ridiculous. First we go from it being against contract to it being in the contract.

What the hëll even is that?

"Yah, where are you going?"

A voice interrupts my thoughts and before I know it I'm on the stairs.

"Hyung," I practically plead, "something really bad is happening to me,"

"What? Rae, what's wrong?" Yoongi walks down the stairs to be on the same level as me.

"Jungkook and I have to date,"

"YOU WHAT?" He suddenly shouts, his voice echoing of the walls, "why?!"

"PD-Nim says we have to because of all the stuff being said about how Jungkook said how we kissed before I Need You," I whine helplessly.

"PD-Nim said that?!"

I nod.

"Come with me," he mumbles, grabbing my wrist and dragging me back where I came from.

"Where are we going?"
