"I believe that my heart will not leave you."

"Meeting his parents huh? That must be exciting." Amy chuckled as she took a sip of her coffee.

"Yeah," I fiddled my fingers around the warm cup of tea, looking into it as small amounts of steam came out of it.

"You seem nervous," Chels remarked.

It seems ironic that Chels, Amy and I would all be sitting at the same table, in the same coffee shop, casually talking as a group of friends. Yet, here we were. Mainly because Chels had resorted to sticking up for herself and breaking the so-called friendship she had with Mina and Nicole. Amy admired that, even if she didn't do it sooner.

"Just a bit. What if they don't like me? What if they aren't pleased with how I am?"

"I don't see what you're getting so worked up over. Y/N, you're a literal nerd who has good grades in school. Parents mostly always praise those who do well within their education. I would know. My mom never shuts up about how she wants me to be like you when it comes to being a good student. Once you're good in that category, you're basically set." Amy snapped her fingers while speaking on the word 'set'.

"I agree. I'm shoo they'll wuv you." Chels managed to fit another munchkin into her already full mouth, earning a disgusted look from Amy.

As if she didn't talk when her own mouth when it was full.

"I guess time will tell." I shrugged and lifted up my cup, taking a small sip, letting the warm feeling of the liquid warm my body up.

"It sure will. Speaking of which, I need to be getting home. My dad's taking me out to dinner." Amy started to pack up her things, unplugging her phone charger which she was using and stuffing it into her bag.

"You're going out to dinner tonight, yet you decided to eat a dozen of munchkins." Amy said, more of a statement than a question,

"Listen, I eat," She pointed to her abdomen. "A lot."

"Yeah, it seems we've established that. Do you need a ride? I have to head out too." Amy pointed outside of the cafe window towards her car.

"Oh, I'd really appreciate that! Thank you."

"Of course," Amy turned to look at me. "I can drive you home too if you'd like? I know you're leaving tonight."

"I think I'll stay here a bit longer. I need to let off some stress for a bit. Thank you for the offer though."

Amy nodded and with a simultaneous wave followed by a big farewell along with some wishes of luck, both her and Chels walked out of the cafe door, causing the small bell that hung on the door to gently ring.

As I sat there, I continued to let my mind ponder on how Jungkook's parents would view me.

Hoping that they wouldn't be disappointed with his choice of a girlfriend.

The following evening, my mother had asked me to ask Jungkook to give me his parents' phone number so that she could call them and confirm that me staying overnight would be okay. After a few 'great's', 'okay's' and a few friendly laughs, my mom hung up and gave me a smile which showed her approval. As the day wore off though and the time for my departure came closer, my mother started to become more fretful.
