"School is like another mini society, a jungle made carelessly by adults."

My fingers hovered above the keyboard of my laptop, moving from letter to letter as my my mind changed as to how I wanted to continue my essay. I only had one sentence typed down, which wasn't very helpful seeing that it was already 9pm. It wasn't due to me not being able to concentrate, it was mainly due to the fact that my mind was in a conflicted state to what word choice I should pick. I groaned internally and ran my hands across my face.

If I didn't finish this essay, I would have to listen to the never ending complaints of my father.

My eyes wandered over to my untouched history assignments. I hadn't even written my name yet.

Forcing myself, I started to type whatever popped into my head first. Luckily, I was a fast typer so that gave me some advantages to being able to complete things last minute.

Yeah.

Last minute.

The essay prompt was given out last week.

But with seeing Jungkook and all, I was always coming home, ready to jump into my bed and await the next day. I couldn't let my father win. I would have have to figure out how to balance my time between school and Jungkook from now on.

My eyes struggled to open as I started to see my surrounding better. As I moved, I could feel my back aching along with many other parts of my body. I soon figured out why.

I was still on the floor of my bedroom, laptop in the same position except the screen had went pitch black so that I could see my reflection. Jeez, I looked a mess. I managed to complete all my work but I guess I must have been too tired to even get into bed.

I looked for my phone as it continued ringing and found it beside my leg. I picked it up and looked at the caller ID.

A smile broke out on my face before I answered

A smile broke out on my face before I answered.

"Hey." I said, my voice flat and hoarse due to just recently waking up.

"It's about time you pick up."

"Sorry, I just woke up." I managed to give a tired a chuckle.
