"Even if our youth rots in the studio, thanks to that, we're closer to success."

Y/N's POV:

It's been a week. I haven't spoken to Jungkook, or anyone else really. I guess it's fair to say that you're not really yourself right after you go through a breakup. You try and let your mind wander onto different things yet it can't help itself but think of the one thing you've been trying so hard to avoid. I guess there's only been one good outcome out of this and that would be working on nothing besides school. It's helped to keep my nose dug into a book. It's worked as a distraction and soon enough, it felt like things were back to the way they were before I bumped into Jungkook. I guess he took my words seriously because I haven't received any texts or calls from him. I missed him but I wish he would come and look for me. Maybe he decided he was happier with Hope?

I scribbled on top of the words I had written. I don't use a journal very often but there are times when I don't feel like telling anyone my problems so I choose to write them out instead. It's definitely helped me a lot this whole week.

I closed up my notebook, tossing it to the side before laying back down on my bed. I reached for my phone, dialing up my best friend's number.

"Wuz guddi, wuz guddi?"

I formed a smile hearing Amy's voice. "Hey, Amy."

"How are you holding up? I bet you look like Rudolph the red nosed reindeer with all the tissues you've used to blow your nose."

I pouted. "In my defense, I haven't cried in at least 2 days."

"Wow, that's definitely an accomplishment."

"Ain't it? Anyways, it seems like you were right."

"Right about what?"

"About promises never lasting."

Amy kept silent momentarily. "Oh, well, I mean-"

"It's okay. Don't worry. You don't have to try and feel sorry for me. Guess that's what I get for not listening to my best friend."

"Hey, don't say that. You know how I am. I have such a negative outlook on almost everything."

"Well, that's not completely untrue." I giggled.

"Look, it doesn't matter anymore. Screw him. I'm still trying to get over the fact that he punched my soon-to-be boyfriend in the face."

My eyes widened.

"Wait, what did you just say?"

"Screw him?"

"No, no. Before that."

"The part where he punched Yoongi?"

"Yeah, that part."

"Oh? Haven't you heard? Jungkook went all crazy on his brothers and ended up punching Yoongi."

"No, I haven't heard. When was this?"

"I don't exactly remember. It's been a couple of days though. I found out through Yoongi the same day when he kept on being suspicious about not wanting to video call me. Something was clearly up. He never declined the offer to video call, no matter where he was or what he was doing."

I was still trying to get all of this through my head. Jungkook never seemed to be the violent type so I was very much confused by his out-of-place action.
