Relationships aren't perfect. I know this. What I didn't know is how much stress a simple situation can put on you. I rubbed my temples in small circle figures with my middle and index fingers as I spun around on the swivel chair in front of my desk. It was Sunday and the thought of having to return to school the next day dreaded me. I had long lost my concentration on Rainbow Rowell's Eleanor & Park. I was in no mood to read. I checked my phone again after the many previous times to see if Jungkook had texted back yet and I have to admit, I was slightly upset to see that my text was still left unanswered.
I placed my phone back on the desk and got up, heading towards my bathroom. As I entered, I leaned over my sink to get a close up look at my face. I focused on the small faint scars I had and the tiny bumps that formed on certain parts of my face. I thought back to the drawings of Hope and frowned.
Even the drawing was prettier than me. I can only imagine how good she looks in person.
I tried to distract myself by watching a few puppy videos on YouTube but even that didn't help much.
When I heard a chime from my phone, I jolted up and rushed to see if there was a possibility of it being my boyfriend.
I smiled as I saw the familiar contact name.
