2. The Plans

I portaled to Dr.Hall's office, and I thought it was too late because all the lights were off.

Dr.Hall: Ah Scarlet, you here.

Scarlet: Dr.Hall, it's good to see you.

Dr.Hall: Good to see you too, is something wrong? I don't see you until next week, unless if I moved it to an earlier date.

Scarlet: No I actually came here because......I really need to talk to you. That is.....if you're open then I can just wait till my next appointment.

Dr.Hall: No, no, go ahead and wait for me by door where we have our sessions. I need to go get the key to unlock it.

Scarlet: Or I could use my magic to unlock it?

Dr.Hall: I guess we could use it.

We went to the session, and I opened the door. We both sat down, and Dr.Hall began with her daily writings of what our conversations we had.

Dr.Hall: What's wrong, Scarlet?

Scarlet: It's my......It's my parents.

Dr.Hall: Has something happened with them?

Scarlet: They were.....they were fighting again.....

Dr.Hall: Scarlet remember that this happens with-

Scarlet: My papa said that my dad should stop acting like a child. I heard the floor rumble a little bit, and I heard the door open and close. What if my dad never comes back?

I didn't realize I had tears, until Dr.Hall had handed me a tissue over. I took it, and wiped them away.

Scarlet: Look I've heard the same phrase over and over, and all I want is for it to end. I don't want to hear the screaming, and I don't want to feel the fear that as soon as my dad leaves he'll never come back. All of my anxiety attacks that I've had always had to deal with my parents fighting, every time I stay the screams get louder and louder until I go deaf.

Dr.Hall: At this point, your desperate for something to change.

Scarlet: I will be forever grateful if the change happens.

Dr.Hall got up, and opened a cabinet and held out a small bottle with a dropper.

Scarlet: What is that?

Dr.Hall: It's a sleeping potion.

Scarlet: I tried to sleep through the fights, but it doesn't work.

Dr.Hall: This isn't just any sleeping potion, this one will make you sleep and you won't hear anything.

Scarlet: Really?

Dr.Hall: Yeah, it's just like anesthesia with a patient.

Scarlet: Just without the whole surgery part.

Dr.Hall: Yes, and it will only last when your parents stop fighting.

Scarlet: Thank you, Dr.Hall.

Dr.Hall: Anytime, you better get home before your parents worry.

Scarlet: Have a goodnight, Dr.Hall.

Dr.Hall: You too Scarlet.

I portaled back to my room, and I hid the bottle in a box filled with pictures of.....them. I look at them, and I see how happy they were. I remember that day too, it was after Valentine was defeated and we went to a carnival to celebrate. All of us went into a photo sticker booth, and we were being silly and made faces. Then papa and dad started being cute, and kissing each other then they kissed me on the cheeks. Then we got serious for the final picture, and just smiled with my arms hugging the both of them together.

Alec: I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN SAY THAT TO ME!!!!

Magnus: MORE LIKE I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOU DON'T TRUST ME!!!!

Alec: JUST ADMIT THAT ONE OF YOUR LOVERS IS YOUR ONE TRUE LOVE!

Magnus: YOU ARE MY TRUE LOVE!

Scarlet: I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!

I took the bottle, and I drank the whole thing. I didn't care if I was supposed to do one drop, Dr.Hall didn't specify anything. After all of the potion was sinking into my throat, I felt really sleepy.....I can't.....why do I feel........

Magnus: SCARLET!!!

Alec: NO!!!

Dr.Hall: Mother, the plans were carried out. The girl is all yours.

Lillith: Good, now all I have to do is get the girl and resurrecting my baby boy will be much more easier than I thought. You're cleared for now my child, I'll let you know if there is anything I need for you to do.

Dr.Hall: Thank you mother.
