5. We Meet Again

A knock on the door went off on Magnus and Tessa's door, and when it was opened Helen Penhallow-Blackthorn was standing in the way.

Magnus: Helen, I wasn't expecting you.

Helen: Sorry, I knew I should've called ahead of time to tell you ahead of time.

Magnus: It's fine, come on in.

Magnus let Helen in, and headed into the living room.

Magnus: So what brings you here, Helen?

Helen: I have a message from your lover, Alec Lightwood.

Magnus felt nervous, and he assumed that it would've been a message of breaking things off between them because he found out who he really was.

Magnus: What is the message?

Helen: He wanted to let you know that he's pregnant.

Magnus: Pregnant?

Helen: That's what he has told me.

Magnus: Is that all?

Helen: He wants to meet you somewhere, but nowhere near where any Warlock or Shadowhunter can see you. He wants you to pick the location that is if you do want to meet him.

Magnus: Can you send him a message for me, please?

Helen: Of course, what is it?

Magnus: Tell him to meet me at Lake Lynn at midnight tonight.

Helen: Of course, I will let him known.

Magnus: Thank you Helen, if you don't mind, say hi to Aline for me.

Helen: Sure thing, I'll let her know.

Magnus: Thank you.

Helen left, and Magnus looked at his watch to see what time it was.

1:00....

He had eleven hours before then, it should be enough time for him to get everything ready.

Alec: Helen told me that Magnus wants to meet me at Lake Lynn midnight tonight.

Izzy: Are you going to go?

Alec: No, I'm not. What do you think Izzy? Of course, I'm going to go.

Izzy: I'm just saying, but you're not going alone.

Alec: Izzy this is a personal issue.

Izzy: And don't you think you, as my brother, is a personal issue.

Alec: Izzy, listen to me, I know your scared but this is something that I have to deal with on my own.

Izzy: Fat chance, I'm coming with you.

Alec: Look I don't want to alarm Magnus into thinking that this was a trap.

Izzy: The only thing I'll take as a weapon is my whip, and stele. I won't go full out.

Alec: Izzy-

Izzy: Alec, please, I want to come with you. If you go alone, who knows what could happen?

Alec: I'm well trained.

Izzy: Yeah well trained, and pregnant. I am not going to let you go out there, and get my niece or nephew killed.

Alec: Who says they're going to get killed?

Izzy: I do. Haven't you heard all the stories? If anyone goes near Lake Lynn, they'll never come out. Which is why, I am coming with you whether you like it or not.

Magnus: I'm on my way.

Tessa: I'm coming too.

Magnus: Why?

Tessa: You're going to need back up if you get caught trying to sneak out of Edom.

Magnus: Tessa you're magic is out of control-

Tessa: What? Because I'm pregnant? I don't care Magnus, I'm going with you.

Magnus: Just be on the look out for anything, I don't want either of us to have a unborn child dead on our conscious.

Tessa: We're going to be okay, I know it.

The night had settled in, and everyone started to head all the way to Lake Lynn. Alec and Izzy were coming, and so was Will just to see if he can see Tessa again if not then at least to send a message to her. Magnus and Tessa walked all the way, and the two groups met up at the same time.

Magnus: We meet again, Alexander.

Alec: As to you, Magnus.
