4. Pop The Question

The final day of VidCon came, and this was also the day that I get to pop the question. Izzy and I reviewed the plan, and it seemed that it was in place. Right now, we were just doing our last meet up with fans before I lead Magnus out of the place. Izzy said she would give me the signal by texting me that it's time. It is taking forever though, and I wonder what is taking her so long.

Magnus: Alec?

Alec: Yes?

Magnus: Are you okay?

Alec: Yeah I am.

When really I'm not, because Izzy is taking forever! You know what, screw it! I'll take Magnus out if Izzy going to, it's taking forever and I can't wait.

Alec: Hey Magnus, can I talk to you in private?

Magnus: Sure.

I lead Magnus out of there, and to the exact location where I was planning the proposal.

Magnus: What's wrong?

Alec: Magnus...I just want you to know that I love you so much and that I don't think I can live without you. Without you.....I can't think straight.

Magnus: That's because you aren't straight, Alexander, and where is this going?

Alec: What I'm trying to say is that...

Alec got down on one knee and pulled out the ring.

Alec: Magnus Bane, you have and still continue to make me the happiest person ever, and I need to ask you will you marry me?

Magnus: Ye-

"AHHHH!!!!"

Magnus and I looked around and saw the biggest crowd just heading our way into the entrance of VidCon. We had no idea what the hell was going on, but I shielded Magnus from the crowd but then I got ran over. Luckily, I was only knocked down to the ground and it was nothing severe.

Magnus: Alexander, are you alright?

Alec: Yeah, I'm alright.

Magnus: Are you sure?

Alec: Yeah I'm okay, but what was that crowd.

Magnus: I don't know.

Alec: Anyway, will you marry-

Magnus: Yes!

I got the ring, which I'm surprised it didn't fell out of my hand, and I placed on Magnus' ring finger. Then not a moment too soon, we heard all of our fans, friends, and siblings were cheering us on. We stood in for more pictures that people were doing, and then we all headed to this Pizza place that was nearby before we go back to the hotel and pack everything to head out of VidCon.

Izzy: For our first VidCon, I'd say this was fun.

Alec: Except for that huge crowd that runs over you when you're trying to propose to your future husband.

Magnus: And speaking of the huge crowd, what was that huge crowd for?

Clary: According to Twitter, the huge crowd was chasing.....ugh Logan Paul...

Jace: Seriously? Him of all people?

Clary: Yup, apparently he had this contest where he hid $3,000 in a bush somewhere and if the person found it then they would be able to meet Logan Paul himself. In the end, someone did find it, but then it ended up becoming chaotic where a bunch of people started to chase him all the way through the VidCon entrance but then the crowd lost him when Logan went into his hotel room.

Simon: By the angel, I don't think you ever see anything like this before.

Izzy: I know.

Clary: In other news, Alec, all the proposal pictures managed to trend worldwide on Twitter and Instagram!

We all gave out cheers to everything that has happened and gave cheers to Magnus and I becoming officially engaged.
