Lady Midnight: Are you saying that I have descendants?

Guy: A lot of them, actually. Only five of them are here. However, there is one descendant you have to look at.

Lady Midnight: Before you go on, I want to know their names.

Guy: Their names are Julian, Tiberius, Livia, Drusilla, and Octavian Blackthorn.

Lady Midnight: Who is this one child I have to look at?

Guy: The youngest, Octavian, he has more power then you will ever know.

Lady Midnight: Just tell me how this will work.

Guy: I put the Mark on him.

Lady Midnight: You did what?

Guy: It was the only way possible! If I put the Mark on him then he will attract the spirit of Cain. Whatever the boy tells him to do, Cain will do it no matter what. If we get the boy to tell Cain to bring the Great Destroyer to you then you can complete the resurrection like that.

Lady Midnight: I don't know, I don't want to put the risk of my distant nephew.

Guy: I'm positive this will work, I would never betray your trust, my lady.

Lady Midnight: Very well then, but if this does hurt him or anyone of my nephews and nieces then I will send you back to where you came from.

Guy: I won't fail you.

Octavian: Is it off?

Magnus: No, it looks like the guy gave you a tattoo instead of a scar.

Octavian: My uncle would kill me if he saw me with one.

Magnus: I'm going to see if there's a way we can get rid of it, but I don't know if it will come off.

All of us were freaking out about what just happened, the Blackthorn kids were worried about their little brother. I can't blame them for that, they're pretty much the only family they have. Their mom died after Tavvy was born then their dad died, because of blood cancer. The only person that looks after them is their uncle, Arthur Blackthorn.

Alec: Did you get it off?

Magnus: No, and it doesn't seem like it will.

Alec: Ty drew the tattoo he saw on the guy, it looks like this.

Alec showed me the drawing, and I dropped my mouth when I saw it.

Magnus: You have got to be kidding me. The Stanic Star?

Alec: I think this is way weirder then I thought it would be.

Magnus: Whatever that guy did, I bet it had something to deal with Tavvy too.

Alec: Why?

Magnus: Because of the scar on Tavvy's arm doesn't look like one. It looks like it was imprinted on his skin.

Alec: Like a tattoo?

Magnus: Yup, and what's so weird is that I feel like I've seen it before but I don't know.

Alec: Let me look at it, maybe there's something I can get off of it.
