1. A Party To Sneak Into

{Story Emphasis: Lorenzo Ray is the King of all Warlocks, and he has issued that he would put a ward between the kingdoms, Edom and Idris, because of his belief that warlocks and Shadowhunters should not be together. Queen Imogen Whitelaw is trying to cooperate with him, trying to figure out what it is that she can try do to make peace between the two countries. Sadly, no progress has been made. That wasn't until when two particular Warlocks decided to be rebels, and see what was on the other side of the ward to enter Idris.}

Tessa: Are you sure you want to do this, Magnus?

Magnus: Yes, and it will only be for a few days. It's not like we're going to leave Edom forever.

Tessa: We could end up in prison for sneaking out.

Magnus: If we get caught.

Tessa: That's an if though.

Magnus: And that if is not going to happen tonight, now go and get dressed. You're dress should be in your bathroom.

Tessa: Alright.

The two warlocks, Theresa Gray and Magnus Bane, are going to do the scandalous by sneaking into the kingdom of Idris to an annual ball they have every year. While Magnus is excited that he's going to do the impossible, Theresa, a.k.a Tessa, is sort of scared but is willing to do anything if it means she can get out of this town. Ever since King Lorenzo has issued a law stating that he wanted nothing to deal with Idris and it's Shadowhunters, the Warlocks have been miserable. Idris was Edom's solid partner for life, and they had a whole trading system so everyone's people would be happy and live in peace.

Magnus: Tessa, are you done?

Tessa: More like are you done?

Magnus: What do you mean? You're the one who's taking forever.

Tessa: Excuse me, but I'm almost done. You're the one who is putting too much glitter on.

Magnus: Tessa, we all know I need to look fabulous for this party.

Tessa: And if you don't hurry up then we will be late.

Magnus: You can't rush beauty, Tessa.

Tessa: Oh for goodness sake, let's go!

Magnus and Tessa thought that tonight would simply just being a bunch of rebels, and have fun. Little do they know the things they will find, and get themselves into.
