1. Prologue

Magnus: Erica, please let me heal you!

Erica: Magnus we know that the cancer was going to get to me at some point.

Magnus: Erica I'm a warlock for crying out loud, I can heal in a second!

Erica: Magnus I want to die like any other mundane there is out there, and if this how I'm going to die then this how I will die.

Magnus: But-

Erica: Magnus, please try to respect that.

Magnus: But what about Jane?

Erica: Jane is just like you, she wants me to live but she has to realize that everyone dies somehow. Just promise me you'll take care of her, she may be a smart girl but she's also stubborn just like her father.

Magnus: She's also rebellious like her mother.

Erica: And to think that she's a Warlock like you, with that personality and powers like yours, who knows what she'll do.

Magnus: I know, I know she's going to do great things just like you did.

Erica: I love you Magnus.
