Time went fast, and it was already to have Rose meet my parents! Rose and I were freaking out, sure we did come out to Rose's family but this was different. My parents are not only going to know that I'm dating someone, but they're going to know that they have been invited to dinner by Rose's family who does not accept gay people!
Rose: Are you okay?
Madzie: Yeah, just...u....
Rose: Nervous?
Madzie: Yeah.
Rose: Well at least it won't be as bad as my parents are.
Madzie: By the way, do you think that this was a good idea to be here?
Rose: Yeah, don't worry, my parents are out doing some errands so we should be good.
Madzie: Okay, good.
Rose and I went to the Shanghai Institute just so that Rose can get ready along with me. Yes we changed separate times, you pervs, so don't get gross. Just because Rose and I are dating, that doesn't mean that we can't have personal space. I already finished dressing, now I'm just waiting for Rose to come out so we can get back to New York fast. My parents could be coming any minute, and I don't want to be late.
Rose: Okay, I'm ready.
Rose walked out, and she....looked really beautiful....
Rose: Madzie, are you okay?
Madzie: Uh yeah...I'm okay.
Rose: If this outfit looks bad then I can just change in a different outfit.
Madzie: No it's just that....you look really beautiful.
Rose: Aw thank you, you look beautiful.
Madzie: Are you ready to go?
Rose: As ready as I'll ever be.
Madzie: Let's go.
I opened a portal, and we both got in it to arrive at my house. When we there, Rafael and Max were lying on the couch just doing nothing until they noticed us.
Rafael: Hi guys.
Max: Hey!
Madzie: Hey.
Rose: Yello!
Madzie: Are you guys ready?
Rafael: For what?
Madzie: For dinner with Rose's parents!
Max: We're invited?
Madzie: Yes, this is a family dinner after all!
I swear I was about to smack my brothers faces' upside down, until Rose grabbed my arms gently.
Rose: It's okay, Madzie, they don't have to some if they don't want to. Besides, dinner isn't like this second.
As if on cue, the doorbell rang....
My dad's are here!
Rafael: But our father's arrival is!
Rafael and Max, quickly, got up and headed for the door, I pushed Rose to the other hallway to hide until it was time for her to come out. I heard the door open, and I went straight out to where I saw my two dad's walk in.
Madzie: Hi dad, hi papa!
Magnus: Hello all my sweet peas!
We all hugged our dad's, and we all gave the looks of clear nervousness. Okay, Madzie, you got this. All of pulled away from our dad's arms, but before I could say anything my dad asked me something.
Alec: What's with the look, Madzie?
Madzie: Well.....guys I have something to tell you.
Magnus: We're listening.
Madzie: Well....the reason I'm dressed like this is because...I'mdatingagirlandI'mgoingtoherhousetomeetherparentshousebecausetheywantedtomeetmefordinner.
My dad and papa looked at me shocked, and I knew that I looked like I was about to explode craziness.
Magnus: What-
Alec: Did you-
Magnus/Alec: Just say?
Madzie: Just....come on out Rose.
Alec: Rose?
Rose entered the room very shyly, and I knew that the both of us were dead. That was until my dad and papa kept looking at her, very strangely.
Magnus: Oh honey, she looks beautiful!
Papa hugged me to the point where I was about to turn blue like Max.
Madzie: Dad...can't breathe...
Magnus: Sorry.
Rose chuckled a little bit, and papa let me go. Everything went really well, and it seemed that dad and papa got attached to Rose pretty quickly. It came as a shock when we told them about the whole dinner thing with Rose's parents, but they came through and agreed to go.
Rose: Are you sure you want to do this, Mr. and Mr.Lightwood-Bane?
Alec: Of course.
Magnus: And please, call us Magnus and Alec.
Rose: Very well then....Magnus and Alec-
Rose's phone had ringed a message, and she checked it.
Rose: It's my mother, she said that dinner will be ready in an hour. Make sure your.....
Madzie: Boyfriend?
Rose: Yeah......boyfriend and his family are ready.
