Mysterious, I said.
Now I saw, he's so cute and adorable!
The only reason why people think he's so mysterious is that he was very shy, but when you get to know him more he'll just be more of an adorable person. He's so cute like a kitten! Forget about me being bored, I won't be as long as Alexander is around.
Alec: Hey Magnus, why did the bus stop?
Magnus: Maybe we're already here.
Alec looked up and saw that Mr.Starkweather is asleep.
Magnus: Looks like we won't be going to camp then.
Alec: Until Mr.Starkweather wakes up, or if someone takes his place.
Magnus: How about we go somewhere outside of the bus?
Alec: What if someone notices?
Magnus: Don't worry, everyone is knocked out so they won't even know that we were even breathing.
Alec: Well.....
Magnus: Please?
Alec: Fine, but I'm going with you because it's not safe to be outside alone.
Magnus: Such a gentleman.
Alec and I tip-toed out of the bus, and we headed into the forest. Alec prepared before we got out, so nothing bad would happen. We walked through some parts, and it was really beautiful outside. Alec said we could get a better view if we climbed up, but I didn't know how to climb a tree. Alec showed me how and helped me a little bit.
Alec: What do you think?
Magnus: Wow, this is beautiful.
Alec: I'm assuming you've never seen anything like this?
Magnus: No I haven't.
Jace: Hey lovebirds!
I looked down only to see Jace and the rest of the gang staring at us.
Alec: Jace!
Jace: I guess you decided to have a little summer camp of your own.
Clary: Okay, Jace, we get it.
Simon: Come on, get down from here so we can set up camp.
We both get down from the tree, with Alec's help, and we both start setting up a campfire. Luckily there were food packs on the bus, so we took those and roasted some marshmallows to make s'mores.
Izzy: Now that Mr.Starkweather is out, should we ditch him and head back?
Clary: I can drive us back.
Simon: And let's have Mr.Starkweather sleep in the forest, so he can wonder where he is.
Izzy: I'm with him, that guy gives me the creeps.
Raphael: But for now, let's tell some scary stories.
Clary: Well from what Magnus has told me, you're really good with them so go on ahead Raph.
Raphael: You know how Starkweather said that we're going to Lake Lynn for camp?
Clary: Yeah, what about it?
Raphael: Well I have heard of legends about it.
Izzy: What kind?
Raphael: There is this famous one, it all started back in the Victorian Era. A man named Jonathan Shadowhunter had found a huge sword in the lake.
Simon: No way.
Raphael: Yes way. Jonathan had gone to his friend David and her younger sister Abigail and showed them the sword. They had no idea why it was there in the first place, and then all of a sudden it glowed a light. They had no idea why it was doing it, but then there was some sort of whisper they heard.
Clary: What did this whisper say?
Raphael: The whisper was from a girl, and it said 'Give me my sword back'. They thought they were seeing and hearing things, but it wasn't true at all. One night when the village they were living was sleeping, a ghost had appeared and screamed 'Give me my sword back'. The whole village was abrupt, and they thought it was the devil's wife trying to haunt them. When Jonathan, Abigail, and David were alarmed about this they thought it would be the best to try to get rid of the ghost by returning the sword. Most of the people thought it would be a good idea, but a man named Josiah Wayland had said that they should slay the beast with the sword since they were calling the ghost the devil's wife. Jonathan knew that this would cause trouble, and tried to convince the people not to agree. Sadly it failed, and Josiah tried taking the sword from Jonathan but when he touched it gave a sort of burn from him.
Simon: That's kind of weird if Jonatha touched it and nothing happened why did Josiah get burned when he touched it?
Raphael: That's because Jonathan was considered the one to slay the ghost that was haunting their town. It was never explained why, but the people of the village didn't care. The village had forced Jonathan to slay the ghost for good since no one else could do it.
Izzy: Did he do it?
Raphael: He did but by force. That was because that ghost had possessed a woman named Emma Bayliss, and Jonathan had no other choice to kill the ghost while it was still inside of her. Jonathan stabbed her, and Emma had turned back into the mortal she was and the ghost was now hurting. When the ghost was out, she was described to be a woman with long, black hair with a ring finger that was cut off, and that was wearing a red dress. Jonathan went in for the kill and killed the ghost but it didn't work. Instead, it trapped her inside of the sword, and it was best to take it back to Lake Lynn where it was originally found.
Clary: Did anyone know who the ghost's name was?
Raphael: No, but everyone decided to call her Lady Midnight because she came to this world at midnight and every 12 years she would try to escape from the sword and the lake but she failed.
Simon: It doesn't make sense still, if she wanted the sword back then surely she knew that it would trap her inside right?
Raphael: The legend has remained a mystery with so many questions that have been left unanswered.
Izzy: In any case, thanks for the story Raph. Magnus was right, you do tell good stories.
Jace: Speaking of good, I'm ready for a good night sleep.
Alec: I'll put out the fire, you go on ahead and head back to the bus and sleep.
Jace: Don't let Lady Midnight trap you in the sword.
Alec: Hardy, har, har Jace.
Everyone else left, but me I wanted to stay with Alec.
Alec: You sure you want to wait in the cold?
Magnus: It will be worth it.
Alec put out the fire, and we started to head back to the bus but then we all stopped when the guys were standing like lost people.
Magnus: Um, what's the hold-up?
Clary: This.
Everyone moved out of the way, and we both saw 'Give me my sword back' written on the bus with blood.
Magnus: The hell?
Alec: Ha, ha, ha Raphael but you did ruin the bus.
Raphael: I didn't write that.
Izzy: It's true, all of were here when we saw this.
Alec: Yeah, all here to pull a prank.
Jace: Dude, we're serious, we saw this.
Magnus: Maybe Starkweather was trying to prank us.
Clary: When we got to the bus, Starkweather was still knocked out.
GIVE ME MY SWORD BACK!!!
