1. Cat-Hybrid Freaks

In this crazy world that I live in there are things called mundanes, the normal people, and cat-hybrids, the not normal people, and mundanes usually get their way. If only I was a mundane then I wouldn't be dealing with this crap right now, but sadly I am.

Robert: Alec, where's my tea?

Alec: I'm coming.

Robert: I'm coming what?

Alec: I'm coming right away, sir.

That guy that just called me is my step-father, Robert Lightwood, and he doesn't want to deal with anything that has to do with me other than getting chores done. You see a long time ago my mother, Maryse Lightwood, had an affair with some guy that she liked a lot. She wanted to marry him, but couldn't since he was already engaged to Robert. Turns out that the affair that my mom had sparked a pregnancy, but she had told Robert that he was the father. Then the truth was revealed when I was born, and it turned out that I had a tail and cat ears. Then that's when my mother was forced to tell Robert the truth, but he couldn't throw us out because of his engagement to her. If there was anyone who could love me, it was my mom, my sister, Izzy, my adoptive brother, Jace, and my little brother, Max, but never my dad. When my dad isn't around then I can show my hybrid side, because my siblings and mom think it's cool to have these features.

Alec: Here you are, sir.

Robert: Good, you may leave now.

You're probably wondering why my father couldn't get his own tea. That's because hybrid cats are supposed to be servants, and not treated like equals. Though I've gotten used to the whole thing with my dad, if he doesn't like me then he doesn't like me.

Izzy: Hey big bro.

Alec: Hey Izzy.

Izzy: Guess who got three invites to the High Warlock of Brooklyn?

Alec: What?

The High Warlock of Brooklyn, Magnus Bane, is a very rich person in New York and he always throws parties just for fun. The reason why he's called the High Warlock is because the magical creature, warlock, were known to be rich and good-looking.

Alec: How did you get them?

Izzy: One of my boyfriend's friends is playing tonight, and he just wants to support him. Also he knew that I've always wanted to go to one of his parties, but the tickets were always expensive. Him being the adorable and amazing boyfriend that he is, he saved up all of his money and got in touch with his friend and got you, Jace, and I tickets!

Alec: That was really nice of him, but why is he inviting us?

Izzy: He knew how important you guys are, so he got them for you. Though he didn't get any for Max, since you know...it's an adult party.

Alec: Right, tell Simon thanks but I can't make it.

Izzy: Why?

Alec: Uh remember? I have work to do.

Izzy: It's not only till the night, so you can still go.

Alec: Don't you also know that people hate hybrids?

Izzy: I have a plan.

Alec: Oh god no.

Izzy: Don't worry, you're going to love it!
