STEF'S POV:

I started on our wedding invites, Lena had created a list naming everyone who was aloud to attend so I started writing people Lena knew from the staff members at the school so she could give them their invitation today. I gathered the sooner our invitations were out she'd forget about Gretchen and look forward to our wedding.

"What are these?" She said walking into the kitchen picking up the stack of fancy envelopes.

"Wedding invites, for staff at Anchor Beach."

"All of them?" I said flicking through them.

"Yes, I gathered you could hand them out at work today" I said standing up walking over to Lena and throwing my arms around her greeting her with a sweet kiss on her tender lips.

LENA'S POV:

It was that usual time of day again, where I had to go work and leave Stef alone. I hated leaving her but I had my job to do. I could take any more time off work than I already had. I was the principal and the school is lost without me.

I arrived pulling up in the parking lot besides monte.

"Hey Lena" she said as she walked besides me into the school.

"Hey, I have something to give you soon, can I pop by your office" I intended on giving her the wedding invitation but I had so many in my bag I didn't have time to flick through them.

"Sure, I have a free period at 10:00?"

"Great" I said walking away to my office as we diverted in different directions.

Timothy, walked into my office asking about the English literature programme.

"Do we need to study Macbeth? I'd prefer to do Hamlet with the children, it's so much more dark and understanding."

"The AQA board wish for Macbeth, Shakespeare's language is hard to grasp and the children need to study hard. You can't change the book, I'm sorry" I said flicking through the envelopes to see if Stef had included Timothy's invite, he started to head out the door before I stopped him. "Timothy...wait..." I walked over to the door handing him the invite.

"What's this?" He asked.

"My wedding invite" I smiled as he left my office sliding it into his pocket.

It was 10:09 and Monte still wasn't in her office, I had waited for almost 10 minutes now and I had files to finish, I had to run financial reports for the extra curricular activities, so I placed my hand on the doorknob of her door seeing if it will twist. It did. She left her door unlocked so I entered and headed to her desk.

I was looking for a safe place to put it, but her desk was piled with paperwork and I didn't want it getting misplaced or mixed up between the papers, so I slid open one of the draws seeing pens, I slid the next one seeing notebooks, post-it notes and basic teacher necessities and opened the third one seeing papers, I flicked through the papers seeing a gap like something was between them. I sat on Monte's chair and pulled out the wedge of papers to see what was preventing the papers to sit perfectly need with the others and I seen a.... no way!

Monte had walked in and seen my reaction. She knew instantly what I had found in her draw and she had shut the door behind her trying to explain.

"Please, Lena let me explain" she said with a stutter in her rather provincial speech.

"What's to explain. I know what you did" I said standing up backing into the corner.

"Please, don't be scared of me" she said raising her hands in front of her trying to calm me down.
