SURPRISE TIME

STEF'S POV:

we had arrived at my apartment after another early morning flight. We was shattered. All I wanted to do was sleep, and so did Lena. So that's what we did. We left our suitcases in the hallway, headed to the bedroom, stripped down to our bare bodies and slept in one another's arms.

As much as I loved Paris, I had missed home a lot. I missed my bed. I missed my job and I even missed my mother which is something I thought I was incapable of feeling.

We drifted off to sleep at 5am hoping to get a good amount of sleep until our parents arrived welcoming us and asking how everything went.

We woke at 12pm getting 7 hours sleep, feeling refreshed I headed to the taking a shower. Once I had finished he shower I ran a nice bubbly relaxing bath for Lena as I knew she was dying for one. Especially after the flight. I walked back into the bedroom after my shower seeing her awake.

"Hey hun, I've ran you a bath" I said walking over to her pressing a sweet kiss onto her lips as she sat up.

"Thanks, what time are our parents coming" she asked as she rubbed her eyes trying to make her more aware of her surroundings and wake up properly.

"My mother is coming at 1:00 and I think your parents are at 2:00" I looked at the clock seeing the time 12:43.

I quickly slipped on more comfortable clothes as all my decent clothes were in my suitcase and they needed washing. I slipped on my most comfortable pair of sweatpants and top and threw a towel around my head capturing my hair drying it a little.

As Lena stepping into her bath I decided to get some of her washing done before mine, for I had uniform for work whereas she needed her day-to-day life clothes. I filled the washing machine with wash powder and liquid making them smell fresh until my mother walks in.

"Well aren't you the real housewife now" she said chucking as she seen me doing laundry.

"Ha,ha very funny mom" I laughed back sarcastically.

"Stef, there's something I should tell you" she begun.

"What is it?" I asked spinning around creating eye contact with my mother as she sounded serious.

"Well...when you..." she was soon interrupted by Lena.

"STEFFFF" Lena shouted from the bedroom.

"One moment mother" I said walking into the bedroom.

"What is it?" I asked Lena as she stood there in a towel.

"Where are your joggers?" She asked. I thought it was something a little more serious than this but she liked wearing my joggers. She felt comfortable.

"I'll get them, they're in the utility room" I said walking to the utility room pulling out the joggers and heading back to Lena.

I handed them to Lena as she thanked me completely forgetting what my mother had to tell me. I sat on my bed as I spoke with Lena about what we should cook for dinner as we had both our parents here too. I was in the bedroom for around 10 minuted before I heard Dana and Stewart enter saying hello to my mother.
