STEF'S POV:

Lena is acting a little sketchy and quiet, something is on her mind. My guess is that she's still insecure about what I think towards this pregnancy but the truth is the more these days pass the more I realise we're ready. I want this child just as much as her. I just needed to tell her that.

"Lena, baby I need to ask you something?" I shout from the other room as she follows my voice and meets me in the kitchen.

"What is it?"

"Have you heard from anyone about the baby? I'm tired of waiting, I want this baby. And I want it now." I say as a grin spread wide across her face at my words.

"Me too, and erm...you're not at work today" she replied as I from in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"I called in, you have today off...we're going somewhere" she says giving me no hints or answers what so ever.

"Where?"

"Surprise" she teases.

So an hour passed and we started to get dressed, Lena threw on a black maxi dress and I put my usual jeans and flannel shirt on.

We headed out to our car when I asked again where we was going. "Lena, tell me where we're going?"

"You'll know soon" she replied.

All the suspension was killing me inside, she was so happy but I didn't know where we was going. Around 30 mins later we pulled up at the medical centre.

"Lena..." I started.

"It's time, we're ready" she interrupts excitedly.

"No way" I screech from the top of my voice and hug her tight from the passenger seat.

"Let's go get ourselves a baby" she said opening the car door and walking towards the clinic.

"Lena baby, I love you" she says reaching for my hand as we enter.

"I love you too" she says as we arrive at the desk.

"Hi, I'm Lena Adams Foster, I have an appointment" she says to the receptionist.

"Straight through here" the women directs us to the room.

"Hello Lena, straight on the bed please" the nurse asks as she laid upon the bed I taken her hand into mine and never let go. "You nervous?" The nurse asks.

"No? Excited." She replied.

"What about you Stef?"

"I'm shitting it. But excited too" I admit until Lena gave me 'that look' for cursing. "Sorry" I whisper covering my mouth as the nurse smiles.

"Lena I need you to lay still while i implant this, it could take 10 days for the egg to connect itself with a mother's body so keep taking pregnancy tests to see" she explains as I nod with agreement.

"Wow, this is really happening" I say as the nurse looks at me while Lena kissed my hand that she hasn't let go of.

"It sure is baby" she reply's.

"And I'm done. Congratulations" the nurse says as she pulls her antiseptic blue gloves off her hands and places them in the disposable bin.

I couldn't take my eyes off Lena, this was so exciting for us, like we have finally become a family and it was changing us completely right away, like every ounce of blood within us was was complete. She had finally become a mother.

"Welcome to motherhood beautiful" I say as I brush her curls out of her face to behind her eyes.

"We're going to spoil this baby rotten, she's ... I mean or he is going to be so so lucky to have us" she replied brushing her thumb across the back of my hand.

"I love you. Both of you" I say place my hand on her flat stomach.

"Me too" she replies kissing me softly forgetting about the nurse in the room.

This was by far the happiest day of my life. I couldn't believe it, after everything we have been through we finally have something great happening. Having Brandon was great, but it destroyed my heart when he abandoned me and chose his fathers lifestyle, so having this baby with Lena is a fresh start. A new start.

*cough*cough* the nurse cleared her throat deliberately breaking up our kiss. "These are for you Lena" she said as she handed me a few pregnancy tests.

"Thank you so much, nothing we say can show you how grateful we are" I say as Lena agrees.

"My pleasure, it's nice to be the person to allow people like you to start a family. I wish you all the luck in the future. You'll be great" she said as Lena unexpectedly hugs the nurse and we leave.

"Shall we call our parents?" I ask as we sit in the car blown away at the fact we have just become a family. 9 months of pregnancy and then our little baby will be here.

"No, I want to do this properly. Not until our first scan"

A/N: well, Lena is pregnant even though her body will not know this until the egg connects with the body to develop in the womb. What are your thoughts?
