As we enter Shane' s house, I'm still dripping.

"Why are you such a genuine person?"

"Well, I see things happen to people everyday, I see what happens when a person gets hurt, I see what lies underneath that fasaud that people put on that they can seem
like all is well. But that's not the case. I want to be happy, but I'm almost never happy. But what makes me the happiest is giving and helping people that love that I've never felt from everyone around me. People throw me away, but I don't want other people to feel like their nothing compared to others"

Shane nods in agreement "in a video you posted in the beginning of 2017, you admitted that you had been homeless..."

I blink because I feel tears coming "um, you see when my mom was 17 she got pregnant with me, and her mom kicked her out. So she decided to live with her boyfriend who was 22. He would always hit her, forcefully make her do things with his friends. He would keep her on a leash and make her eat dog food sometimes. And I was there, I watched all of it. I tried to fight him once, and I ended up in the hospital" I cry but wipe my tears away constantly. Ryland hands me a box of tissues.
