CHAPTER 7: BINSENT

(Vince's POV)

Hanggang ngayon, hindi pa rin napapalis ang ngiti ko sa labi. Hindi ko maintindihan pero  parang ang saya-saya sa pakiramdam ang makita siyang muli..

It's been three years since I last saw her in person...she really changed so much.

Sa unang tingin, iisipin mo lalake siya, from the way she looks, iyong suot niya, the way she move, kung paano siya magsalita...it's so unlady-like. I still wonder...bakit kaya ang pagiging isang taxi driver ang pinasukan niyang trabaho? 

Tomboy kaya siya?

'I hope she's not a lesbian...'

I have no problems sa mga bakla o tomboy. I've met a lot of people who are gays and they're fun to be with, minsan nga, mas totoo pa silang kausap, no pretensions, they are who they are, and they are proud with who they are. 

'Pero...kung talagang tomboy siya...madaming lalake ang manghihinayang...'

"What am I even thinking?" Sabi ko sa sarili ko and I shaked my head to stop thinking about it.

It just makes me wonder, bakit ang pagta-taxi ang trabaho niya, and sa bawat pagtataxi niya ba ay dinadaya niya ang mga pasahero niya sa pamamagitan ng metro?

But she said so herself kanina na hindi naman daw niya talaga ginagawa 'yon at ginawa niya lang 'yon dahil sa sarili niyang kadahilanan.

Pero delikado ang ganoong klaseng trabaho, has she ever thought of the possibility that maybe she would encounter a passenger who has a an evil motive?

"What am I even thinking?" Sabi ko ulit sa sarili ko.

Anyway. I just remembered! I have to contact attorney Tuzon regarding the ownership status of this restaurant.

Atty. Tuzon: "Mr. Hernandez, finally. I was surprised when I received your message. What do you now plan on doing?"

Vince: "I think we should finalize everything but maybe it's best if this matter stays between the two of us for now."

Atty. Tuzon: "Yes. That's what I can think of as of this moment too. But I also suggest Mr. Hernandez that maybe you should also let your father know about this as well."

Vince: "Yes attorney. Also, please inform me as soon as possible when everything's all settled and done."

Atty. Tuzon: "Of course. Pero ngayon pa lang, congratulations! We surely got this."
