CHAPTER 23: KIT

'Obviously she's pregnant! Kaya nga siya bibili ng preganancy test kit eh!'

Darn! Here I was, still having doubts na baka hindi totoo ang sinabi niya na hindi siya lesbian, when in fact, ay buntis naman pala siya!

Now everything makes sense! Kaya siguro iba ang pakikitungo niya sa akin, kaya yata hindi niya ako kinakausap at pinapansin ay dahil sa pinaglilihian niya ako. 

'Shit. Oo nga...'

Maybe she's just making it look like she's a lesbian so that in case na tama ang hinala niya na buntis siya, puwede niya na mas maitago pa 'yon to avoid gossips and suspicions. 

That probably explains why she prefers wearing boyish clothes dahil nga sa maluwag lamang 'yon,  hindi mapapansin ang tiyan niya kung sakali.

'Who is the father?'

I kept on walking back and forth when one of my employees called my attention to ask if I'm okay. Doon ko lang naalala na nasa harap nga pala ako ng desk ni Nadine at nakikita ako ng iba kong employees. They may be thinking that their boss is getting nuts.

Maybe I am going crazy.

Hindi ako mapakali. I feel angry, hurt, sad, frustrated and concerned at the same time.

Maybe Ray is the father. Since, he was really acting like an overprotective boyfriend. I remembered that he hated the fact na na-ha-hassle si Nadine when I decided that we meet again sa V's Place. Even if Nadine denied that she dosen't have a boyfriend, baka at that time, hindi pa nga niya talaga boyfriend 'yong Ray na 'yon pero afterwards, sinagot na niya ito.

At siguro may nangyari na sa kanila after but then they had a huge fight, maybe she told him na buntis siya and he doesn't want to take the responsibility...

Puwede nga siguro...baka 'yon ang dahilan that is why naisipan niya bigla na maghanap ng ibang trabaho. Naalala ko before on how confident she was na sabihin sa akin that she's fine with her job as a taxi driver. Then all of a sudden, she's looking for a new job. 

I quickly went inside the elevator and pushed the ground floor level button. 

"Darn that man! How dare him left Nadine hanging! Dahil ba't nagawa na niyang kunin ang pagkababae nito ay iiwan na lang niya basta-basta ito!? What does he think of her? Trash? Damn him!"
