CHAPTER 45: FOOD 

(Vince's POV)

How I badly want to take back what I just said. Kung puwede lang na magpanggap na lang ako na hindi ko sinabi 'yon.

Heck!

I always utter the wrong words whenever Nadine is involved.

May atraso pa nga ako sa kanya sa hindi ko kaagad na pag-amin that it was me who was texting her last night...I can sense that she really felt uneasy sa 'text incident' na 'yon..and I can't blame her, it was my fault...kaya nga naisipan ko na magdinner kami sana ngayon, the kind of dinner na special...baka sakali na mabawasan 'yong uneasiness niya, and honestly speaking, even I'm a bit uneasy too sa ginawa ko na pag-amin kagabi via text message...

Because I assumed that it was me whom she was referring to last night...

I was actually planning to raise that topic after we eat dinner but heck, I guess I was mistaken....

Dahil sa ngayon ay mukhang hindi naman pala ako 'yong tinutukoy niya kagabi...maybe it was that Ray guy. 

I can't help but feel hurt and pissed off when I saw how he looked at her, I can really see from his eyes on how he longs for her.

Mas lalo pa na nadagdagan ang bigat ng aking kalooban when Nadine called him out and said thank you. 

As much as I hate to deny it, pero kahit na simpleng salamat lang ang sinabi ni Nadine rito ay nakaramdam ako ng inis. 

Palihim ko pa na naikuyom ang isa ko na kamay kanina when Ray arrogantly said that he saved his number on her phone. 

Kaya pala hindi siya nakauwi ng maaga, baka sinadya pa ni Nadine na i-off ang phone niya because she doesn't want to be distrubed since she's with him all along. 'Yong Ray pala ang gusto niyang bisitahin.

It was even Ray who managed to save her and not me.

I wasn't by her side at all. 

Pakiramdam ko ay ako ang may kasalanan kung bakit nagkaroon ng sprain si Nadine sa paa.

I am disappointed with myself.
