"let's start over again, lis."

my eyes widened and i felt like something was stuck in my throat because i couldn't speak.

my ears are acting up. there's no way i heard chaeyoung right.

"h-huh?" i stammered. "say that again? sorry, i-i'm a little bit drunk."

"a little bit drunk?" she arched a perfectly plucked brow. "lisa, you're super drunk," she corrected me with a teasing tone.

i pouted slightly. "okay. i'm drunk as hell," i said. "can you just repeat what you just said?"

she giggled, and i blushed.

that was music to my ears.

"i said let's start all over again," she repeated with a soft smile plastered on her angelic face.

"i know you told me two days ago that we should just forget each other, but i can't do that," she gently shook her head and replaced the smile with a frown. "i can't just forget about you. you're so important to me."

i teared my gaze away from her and glued it to the ground.

i'm important to her? i never felt that way. i always felt like i'm nothing to her. i felt like i'm just sort of there, but not really.

"what about blackpink? what will happen to your group?"

there's a part of me that says that i shouldn't have asked that, but the other part of me tells me otherwise.

i am torn.

"my members know, and they understand the consequences of my actions. but it's going to be fine," she cooed.

"it's going to be fine? how can you say that? blackpink can disband because of me."

"blackpink can disband because of jennie and jisoo too," chaeyoung sighed.

i looked at her and arched a brow, confusion written all over my face. "what do they have to do with this?"

chaeyoung tilted her head. it looks like she's surprised herself.

"why are you looking at me like that?" i questioned and narrowed my eyes.

"are you serious, lisa? my unnies are the most obvious couples ever!"

my eyes widened again. "what?! c-couples?" i stuttered, unable to process the new information.

chaeyoung nodded and chuckled at my reaction. "jennie unnie and jisoo unnie are dating," she smiled a little bit. "they've been together ever since trainee days."

"they've been hiding their relationship for more than 5 years," she added.

"w-what?" i stuttered again, i was confused, relieved, sad, and happy at the same time. i was overwhelemed with emotions and lost of words to say.

jisoo and jennie are really close, and sometimes too sweet, but never in my life did i look at them as couples.

but they're really cute together.

"korea will eventually accept same sex couples. unnies are just waiting for that to happen. if they can hide their relationship for 5 years, i'm sure, we can too," chaeyoung continued and i just listened.

i nodded my head and smiled softly. "i don't really like telling the public that i'm dating someone. so, hiding our relationship will be easy," i uttered.

she smiled back. "so? what do you say, ms. manoban? are you willing to start all over again?" she questioned excitedly.
