School Hunk || Felix Lee

IV

I rummage through the bottom of my bag trying to find my keys to open the door, I feel around my textbooks and lunch container before I finally felt it. 

"Hurry up Felix!"
"Just wait, I've got the keys."

I put the key into the keyhole and unlock the door. I walk into the empty house, my parents are on a very long business trip, so we're alone in the house. I put my shoes on the side of the corridor before throwing my bag on to the sofa at the end of the corridor. I turn around and none of them except Chris has taken their shoes off.

"Ah, ah, ah, remember the Asian household rule, take your shoes off," I shook my head and tsked at them
"But I'm a good boy, right?" Chris said in a baby voice.
"Yes, you are," I said and ruffled his hair, Norton, Kerby and Howard just facepalm as if their so done with Chris and me, "So, there are two options, one is to study and finish the assignment together," everyone booed but I continued talking, "or we can play video games and continue procrastinating." everyone cheered and agreed on that option.

The next hour or two was just us playing video games, Chris and Howard kept on winning so we decided to have a showdown between the two. 

"Go, Chris! Go, Chris!" while on the other side of the living room Kerby cheered for Howard, "Go, Howard! Go, Howard!"

"What are we going to have for dinner?" I asked when I realised that it's already late and the sky was dark.
"Pizza?" Howard suggested
"Again?"
"You got a better idea?"
"No..."

"You guys don't mind pizza right?" Howard asked the others
"Yeah sure, whatever," They said all too focused on the game
"Pizza it is then," Howard took his phone from his bag and dialled the number

"Hey, Felix," Kerby said to get my attention
"Hm?"
"Are you actually going to go audition? You do know that it's really hard to make it through."
"Of course I'm going to try, even if it's hard to make it through at least I'll have a chance to become a trainee."
"The delivery will be in about ten minutes," Howard butted in
"M'kay" 

And in minutes there was a knock on the door, I walk through the corridor and open the door to meet the delivery man. I brought the pizza back into the kitchen before yelling at them to eat.

"Guys! The pizza's here!" 

They all come rushing into the kitchen and begin to chomp on the pizzas like they haven't eaten in days, I join them and chomp like a beast as well. I wonder what Lilliana would look like when she eats, maybe like a camel? That would be hilarious. A little chuckle escaped my mouth at the thought of it, everyone's attention turns towards me and I stop munching.

"What?" I acted as if nothing ever happened
"What were you laughing at?" Chris asked
"How the way we're eating is hideous," I replied, they don't need to know about Lilliana yet, but it is true that the way we're eating the pizza is hideous. All of them bursted out laughing and I laughed with them.

Once the laughter dies down I start talking, "after dinner let's actually do something productive and work on our assignments."
"Fine," Howard said as he slurred his word 
"If you say so," Norton said in a very annoyed tone, while Chris and Howard just shrugged.

The next hour was us working on our assignment and half of us almost falling asleep. It was eight o'clock and my friends were packing their stuff up ready to leave the house.

"See you tomorrow mate," Chris waved at me 
"See you then," I said as he walked away

Kerby and Norton slipped on their shoes and said, "thanks dude, see you at school tomorrow,"
"Yup see you tomorrow,"

Last but not least there was Howard taking forever to put on his shoe
"Dude, it's late you better hurry up,"
"Okay, I'm sorry, geez," he said in a very sarcastic tone, "Bye,"
"See you later,"

I locked the door behind me and dragged my feet to the bathroom to brush my teeth, I then land on my bed and fell asleep.

I open up my eyes and a ray of sunlight peeks through the curtain burning my eyes. I close them back up again and roll on my side, I take my time to get used to the brightness before getting up and getting ready for school.

I drag myself to the bathroom and quickly brush my teeth and walk back to my room to change. I slipped on my black school t-shirt and a pair of ripped jeans before walking into the kitchen to make breakfast. 

I couldn't be bothered to make much breakfast so I just put a piece of bread in the toaster, after minutes it was ready and I gulped it down in one go.

I arrived at the school and went straight to the locker area. Like always there are students taking pictures of me with their phones. I wonder how many photos of me they have on their phone, hundreds maybe? Or thousands maybe? Who knows.

I lean on the wall opposite my homeroom and waited for the bell to go. At the end of the hallway I saw Lilliana walking towards me, she hasn't noticed me yet, she's too absorbed into her book. As she got nearer and nearer I put my leg out in front of me. She continued walking but she was still too into the book not realising I'm here and tripped over my leg. 

She's now on the floor and her big round glasses are crooked, how cute. She stood up and fixed the position of her glasses, I took my phone out of my pocket pretending I was on it the whole time.

"You!" she pointed at me
I looked down at her and said, "yes?"
"You did that on purpose didn't you?"
"Do what?"
"Trip me of course!"

There is now a crowd crowding around us watching all this commotion.

"Nope, wasn't me." I raised both my hands up as a sign that I'm innocent.
"What's this?" a teacher suddenly said out of the blue, both of us went silent and no one said anything for the next thirty seconds, "I expected better from both of you, especially you Felix. Such a disappointment. This is your first and last warning for both of you, got it?" We both nodded and she left.

"You just made a big mistake Felix," Lilliana growled before walking away.
