Should I wear something formal or should I wear something casual? Or something comfy? wearing something formal might be too weird. Casual then.
Jeans or sweatpants? I have never realised that I have that many pieces of clothing, to the point I can't choose. Jeans, I'll wear jeans. Now, ripped jeans or normal jeans? There's quite a bit of wind today if I wear ripped jeans my legs will be cold. If I wear normal jeans it will be tight and uncomfortable. We'll be walking around the mall right? So it's indoors, I'll wear ripped jeans.
Now, the shirt...maybe just a plain white t-shirt will be okay. And add the grey hoodie. That'll be what I'm wearing to the date.
I frowned, isn't this what I wear every day? How the fuck did it take me that long to decide on an outfit that I wear every day? Geeez.
I quickly changed, Lilliana might come any moment now. I wore my shirt and jeans before slipping on my hoodie. I just finished changing and the doorbell rang. I ran to the door in excitement and opened it. She was also wearing a grey hoodie and ripped jeans, her outfit matched mine. "If you're wondering, I don't like dresses or skirts," she chuckled, "sorry, for not being the ideal girlfriend." "You look great in anything, besides our outfits are matching, right?" "We haven't even left your house yet and you're already being so cheesy," she said with a face of disgust.
I rolled my eyes, that wasn't that cheesy, besides, it was the truth. Otherwise, what was I suppose to say? "Oh, you look ugly without a dress?" Note the sarcasm.
"Let's go," I said with a smile permanently taped on my face. "Okay," she said and ran out of the door "Oi! Wait for me, stupid." I ran after her to the bus stop.

"Mango...or lemon sorbet?" She asked herself with a face of seriousness. "I can get you two scoops," I suggested "Are you sure?" I nodded and she jumped around in excitement like a little kid.
"One scoop of mango and one of the lemon sorbet please," I said to the cashier "In a cup or cone?" I looked at Lilliana for an answer, "cup is fine," she said. "Is that all?" The cashier asked and I nodded. Soon, a paper cup of ice cream was given to us with a tiny plastic spoon stuck in it. Lilliana pulled the spoon out and scraped a little bit of the ice cream and tasted it, and her face was lit up with satisfaction.
"Felix, are you not gonna get any?" "Nah, it's okay." "Here, try it. It's really good," she said putting the spoon of ice cream in front of my mouth. I tasted it and it was incredible, it's the best ice cream I've had, "it's good, right?" "Yeah, it is." I can't believe I never realised there was such a good ice cream stall in the mall.
That's when it hit me and I'm freaking out internally. That was an indirect kiss! An indirect kiss with Lilliana! Fuck...I wasn't ready. I didn't think stuff like this will happen this early in the relationship. I took a glance at Lilliana beside me and she was eating her ice cream happily and calmly. Is she not bothered about what happened just then? Actually?
Arrgh!
We walked a little further past a few stores but one specific one caught her eyes, one that sells antiques and miniature things. "Can we go have a look in there?" She asked me "Sure, I don't see why not."
There were miniature everything! There were miniature figures, furniture, food and houses like playsets. They all looked so fragile and each one of the miniatures was all made with detail. "Felix! Look at this one it's so cute." She showed me a tiny bear that was about five centimetres tall, "It's adorable."

"Do you want me to walk you home?" I asked "Nah, like I said before, I don't want my parents to know just yet. I had a lot of fun today, thank you," she said and skipped away.
It was really fun today, it's a day I can't forget. Definitely.
Always appreciate the small things in life, like those miniatures and...

Short chapter just so my book doesn't go completely dead while I get assignments, also I almost didn't hand in the assignment on time so that's another reason it's a short chapter.

It's called Coles minis. Coles is an Australian supermarket and recently everyone has been trying to collect these. They're pretty cute, right? (by the way, I have collected two sets 😜)
