III

I quickly put on my shoes, grab my clarinet and stuff a piece of toast in my mouth. I ran as fast as I could to the bus stop just on the other side of the street. I woke up late and now I'm going to be late for the bus. The bus had already arrived at the bus stop and people were getting off the bus, I run across the road and choke down the rest of the toast.

I slow down my pace when I reach the bus, I hop on and tap my card. I find a seat at the back of the bus and flop down on it. I place my bag and clarinet on the seat beside me as I try to catch my breath back. I made it just on time

The bus was rather quiet like always. I looked out the window spacing out, yesterday I procrastinated and didn't finish my assignment. But Lucky for me, it isn't due until next week Monday.

At the next stop, the bus picks up someone. Though I know it's probably a stranger, but I always have the urge to glance at the person getting on. I looked at the person and to my surprise, it's that girl. I never knew she catches this bus to school.

She glanced at me and sat in the seats at the front of the bus.

We both got off when the bus reached our stop at the front of the school. She got off first but I got off right after her, she was quite far away already. I ran to try and catch up.

I caught up with her and placed my hand on her shoulder.
"Who are you?"
She turns around to face me and tilts her head to the side a little like a puppy,
"I guess you can consider me as your anti?"
"What I meant was what's your name."
"Of course I know what you meant,  you bitch," she said as she gave me a glare. I chuckled
"So? What is it?"
"That's none of your business."
"I at least need to know my anti's name right?"
She started walking and said, "Lilliana."

I laughed when she said her name. I've heard of 'Lillys', I've also heard of 'Annas', but never in my life have I heard of 'Lilliana'.

I unlocked my locker to try and find my textbooks. As soon as I open my locker door a flying jack-in-a-box puppet comes attacking me.

I look around me looking for possible suspects. Then at the end of the corridor, I see Lilliana walking away. She turned around and gave me a smirk. I scowled at her but she just stuck her tongue out as a defence.

So, the war is on. Huh?

Challenge accepted, 

I glance at my watch - 8:25 - I still have ten minutes 'till the bell rings. I walk to the back of the main block where I always sit when I want some time alone. I throw my bag on to the ground and sit next to it. I stare at the bright blue sky not a cloud in the sky. I chuckle at the thought of the childish prank.

She's such an interesting girl

I met up with my friends at our usual place, under the gum tree at recess.

They were there already waiting for me.
"Hey guys, sorry I'm late."
"It's okay, don't worry about it," Chris said before biting into his bread roll.
"Where were you?" Kerby looked at me with curiosity
"Nowhere, just the English classroom." That was a lie, I was actually at my locker thinking of pranks and tricks to attack Lilliana with.

Which reminds me of her prank. I smirked, how childish. She put the puppet in my locker...my locker...that has a lock. How did she get it in my locker?

If she knows my lock combination that means she can get in my locker whenever she wants.

Shit. Shit. Shit.

I put my snacks back in my bag in a hurry and was about to run back to the locker area when Howard stopped me,

"Where are you going?"
"To the locker area," I shout

I ran away before he could stop me again. I bring myself to a halt when I reach my locker, I swiftly unlock it. As soon as I opened it I was bombarded with confetti. 

I take a deep breath and close my eyes, I grit my teeth and mumble under my breath, 

"Lilliana, that bastard." 

I don't lose any more time and change my lock's combination. I need to get her back. I lock my locker and was about to walk back to my friends, but the bell went and I changed the direction I was walking in and walked to the gym.

I change into my sports shirt in the changerooms and walked into the gym. The coach marks the roll while the whole class stays quiet. 

"Today and for the next three weeks, we'll be doing volleyball. Okay?" no one said a thing, "Great! We'll be working on the dig today."

"You guys want to hang out after school today?" Norton suggested
"My place," I volunteer
"Sure, I don't mind," Kerby said
"Chris? Howard? You coming?" I ask them
"Of course!" they both said in unison
"Jinx!" they said at the same time again.
"Jinx! Jinx! Jinx! Jinx! Jinx!"
"Stop, just stop, both of you."
"Oooooh, Norton's mad,"
"Whelp, that's settled," I said before an argument happens, "You guys better be there."

I leaned against the giant gum tree and bit into my muesli bar while they chatted away.

"Hey, Felix look!"

I turned to look at them Chris shoved Norton's phone in my face.

"You wanted to be a singer right? This is your chance!" I couldn't see what they were trying to show me as it was too close to my face, I ended up crossing my eye but I still couldn't read it, it's too blurry.

"Can you guys not shove it in my face? I can't read it."

They back off a little for and I scanned through the article. My eyes bulge in shock, JYP Entertainment is holding an audition in Sydney! JYP! Sydney!

"So, are you going to audition?" Chris asked
"Yeah, of course!"
"It isn't until June though, that's months away."
"So?"

Well, that just shut him up. He takes back the phone and read the article for the second time, his eyebrows furrowed like he's thinking about something really deeply.

"I'm going to audition with you."

Norton, Kerby and I all turn to face Chris in utter shock. Yes, he likes music, but he never said anything about wanting to be a singer. 

"Really? Why?" Norton asked
"Why can't I?"
"Good point."

I walked closer to Chris, looked him in the eyes and said, "Chris, if you want to audition, do it seriously, don't treat it like a game."
"Yes I know, don't worry about it."

I'm so annoyed, I don't know what to write about. Help.
