Today, I decided to hang out with my friends at the mall. I haven't really talked to them much at lunchtimes since I was doing piano lessons with Lilliana.

The first thing we did when we arrived at the mall is to get bubble tea, 'cause who doesn't like bubble tea? When I drank it, it was milky and smooth, Norton sucked the pearl through his straw and it shot up into his mouth and down his throat so fast he choked on it, I probably shouldn't be making a joke out of this, but he looked like a cat with a hairball stuck in its throat.

We walked around the mall, we even went to the arcade. I used the tickets I won to get a Gudetama plushy. It was adorable and squishy, I could hug it everywhere I go if I really wanted to.

The sky was getting dark and all four of us have agreed to get dinner together.

"There are so many restaurants here." Norton pointed out the obvious as he looked at all the fancy restaurants.
"Yeah, but do you have the money to eat at any of these places?" Kerby reminded Howard that we are still broke high school students.
"Pizza?" Howard said out of the blue and I responded immediately.
"No."
"Why?"
"We have it all the time when we're together, aren't you guys sick of it?"
"What are we gonna eat then, rocks?" Good point, what are we going to eat?
"Right, pizza it is then." Howard skipping to conclusions fast. Then I remembered there's a restaurant somewhere near here that has pho noodles.
"Wait, there's a restaurant near here that has pho, my mum brought me there once."
"M'kay we're going there instead, lead the way, Felix," Chris said as they all followed me.

It was pretty close to where we were. All four of us walked down the street and made a right turn at the corner of the block. Voila! It was right there.

We walked in and one of the least likely things to happen, just happened.

Why?

Why is she here, as a waitress?

I don't need my friends to know that I've been hanging out with Lilliana, not yet at least. I mentally bang my head on to a brick wall, I swear she wasn't here last time. We should've just gotten pizza. She's no ordinary magnet.

We can just get dinner, hoping she won't be the one to serve us and leave the place without her noticing, yeah.

We got seated by the window and the waiter handed us each a menu, I hope Lilliana won't notice me.

"What are you guys gonna get?" Norton asked each of us, "I can't choose."
"Well, I'm getting a regular beef ball noodle soup."
"I'm gonna get a chicken one," Chris answered followed by Kerby.
"I don't know, I haven't chosen yet," Howard said.

I wasn't really paying attention to what they were saying, I've just been keeping an eye on Lilliana and hoping she won't come over here.

"Felix?"
"Hm?" I said without taking my eyes off Lilliana
"What are you getting?"
"Whatever Chris is getting," still not taking my eyes off her.
"Felix, what are you looking at?"
"Nothing." I quickly look away so I don't get more suspicious than I already am.

Once Howard decided what he wanted, Chris tried to get one of the waiter's attention so we can all order. But, out of all the five waiters it had to be Lilliana, it just had to be her. I can just hide under my cap, she won't notice it's me.

"Felix? Is that you?"

Fuck.

"You two know each other?" Chris sounded really shocked, "Since when?"
"Yeah, we were in the music room during lunch times. Anyway, may I take your order?"

Chris ordered for all of us while I, being the embarrassed little kid, hid my face in my arms with my chin on the table.

As Lilliana left our table, all of my friends turn to look at me.
"Ask what you want, I don't care at this point," I said putting my chin on my arms that are still on the table.
"Is she your girlfriend? Are you secretly dating?" Howard immediately asked
"Fuck no."
"Then who is she? Your crush?"
"Nope, never."
"But, you were hanging out with her at lunch instead of us, you obviously prefer to be with her more," Chris butted in.
"Okay, here let me tell you this. I like her as a friend and we hang out as friends, that's it, nothing more."
"I don't believe you," Norton said
"I don't care what you believe, but I'm telling the facts."

We finished our meals and paid before leaving and going home. We had to walk a bit to get to the bus stop and the four of them just won't stop talking and I'm getting a bit annoyed at them, specifically at the subject they're talking about.

"I totally ship the two."
"They'd make such a cute couple."

I'll explode from anger if they don't stop in the next two seconds.

"I would love to see a day when they get together."

I can't anymore.

"Can you guys not?" I slightly raised my voice at them
"Oooooh, Felix is mad," they whispered to each other.

This is how they're going to tease me for the rest of the year. It's gonna be great.

I did my assignment as soon as I arrived home, it's due tomorrow and I have barely done a thing. I was researching, writing and typing as fast as my hands can.

Lilliana has probably finished her assignment and is relaxing right now along with Chris, Norton and Kerby. Howard, however, probably still hasn't even started.

I ended up sleeping at around one in the morning. Once I finished my assignment I flopped on to my bed without even changing into my pyjamas. I'm too tired from everything that happened today, I'm not looking forward to Monday, the four of them are forever going to tease me about this.
