XXXVIII

~3 months later~

"Hurry up! Chop Chop! You're on in three minutes," the staff member said as we made our way to the entrance of the stage, waiting for the last three minutes before we officially debut.

Those three minutes were the longest three minutes ever. It felt like an eternity. My heart was beating so fast, I could practically hear my heartbeat in my head. I was so nervous.

We will be performing 'District 9', the title track of our mini album that Jisung, Changbin and Chris had made, who are now called 3racha. 

"You're on now!" The staff member said and we ran up on to the dimmed stage and got into our own positions. I scanned through the crowd trying to find my father, but it was no use, it's too dark.

A couple of seconds later, the light shone right onto us and the music started to play.

No going back now. Definitely can not mess this up under any circumstances.

I continued to search for dad while I was dancing, but I couldn't see him anywhere. Then I saw him, near the front. I smiled at him and concentrated back on the dance.

And just like that, in the blink of an eye, the song was over. I danced my hardest and rapped my part to the best of my ability.

I'm am an idol now...after two years of training, I did it, we did it.

Chris is now Bangchan, Minho hyung is now Lee Know, Jisung is now Han and Jeongin is I.N.

All nine of us walked off the stage in silence, only the sound of our heavy breathing was heard. We headed back into our dressing room to get changed back into our comfortable clothes and out of our on-stage outfits.

We walked out of our dressing room to see that our manager was already waiting for us. "Congratulations guys! You all finally debuted," he said happily, "you are all free to go back to the dorms now. Please remember that you have another stage to perform. Don't tire yourselves out tonight and get some rest."

We all nodded, indicating that we were listening.

We all hoped into the two minivans and soon we were back at our dorm

As soon as I stepped foot into the house, my phone rang from my pocket. It was dad. I picked it up as I was taking my shoes off, throwing them to the side. "Hey, dad!" I said as I ran into my room for a quieter atmosphere. I dumped my bag on the floor and closed the door behind me.

"Fely! You finally debuted!"
"Yeah,"
"I'm so proud of you!" He said with a voice full of energy, which is not something you get often from a handful of old bones like him.

"Are you doing okay over in Korea?"
"Yeah, I'm doing fine."
"That's good to hear. I've mailed you some stuff from Australia, it'll arrive in a week or so."
"Dad, you really didn't have to-"

"But, I wanted to. Anyway, good night, you're gonna need lots of rest."
"Goodnight, dad," I said and hung up.

Before I could snuggle into my bed, I did my night time routine. 

I feel like there'll be loads of surprises, now that I've debuted...

We all hopped off the minivan one by one as we have reached our destination, the JYP building. Chris and I were the last ones to get off. 

But, a specific person caught my eye. I couldn't see her face, but she had short, light brown hair and smooth milky skin. She was short and also wearing a red dress that reached to her thighs. 

Lilliana?

She was just standing there, staring at the JYP building not giving a damn about her surroundings.

I walked up to her and tapped her on the shoulders, she turned around in response.

But, it wasn't Lilliana.

"Stray Kids Felix?" She half-screamed. I kinda felt disappointed it wasn't Lilliana, but I also felt kind of happy. We do have fans huh.

"Oh my god! Can we please have a photo together?"

I nodded and posed for the selfie. 

"I'm sorry but I must go," I said to her after she took the selfie, the others are probably waiting for me.

She gave me a sad but understanding look.

I ran into the building, all eight of them were giving me looks, "who was that?" Chris asked.
"A fan," I said with a smile.

They were all shocked, "we have fans already?" They said in unison and disbelief.

As we walked out of the JYP building I saw that girl again, she was walking by not even taking a glance at us this time. Strange... 

She wasn't wearing a red dress, but a pair of blacked ripped jeans and a grey and white checkered shirt.

I looked closer, it wasn't the girl from earlier, I couldn't believe my eye.

"Lilliana?" I said to myself softly, but the other members still heard me.

"Who's Lilliana?" Seungmin asked.

I ignored Seungmin and took a closer look at her. She's definitely Lilliana.

What's she doing here all the way in Korea? In Seoul? 

"N- no one," I said and continued walking. "You guys wait for us on the car," Chris said and they did as they were told.

"Felix, you should go talk to her."
"I don-don't even know how to anymore," I said, tears forming in my eyes.

It's been so long, of course, I want to talk to her. But, I'm an idol now, and she's probably forgotten me.

I just watched her walk further and further away.

Chris sighed, "C'mon, let's go." He pulled me into the vehicle and handed me a box of tissues.

"What's wrong?" Changbin hyung asked Chris.

"We can talk when we get back to the dorm," he said as the vehicle started moving.

I shouldn't have held back, I should've ran to her.

But it's too late now.

A/N

 Please don't kill me for doing that.

But, ayyyyyyyyyyyy I'm finally back. 

I will be editing/rewriting this book once I've finished the last chapter. I can just imagine how much I'd be cringing when I reread my chapters.

If you've made it this far into the book 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 wow you're amazing. If I was the reader I would've cringed at the first chapter and stopped reading immediately.
