XXII

We both hopped on to the train as the door slides closed behind us.
"Well, that was a close one."
"Yeah," Lilliana said slightly panting

We moved further in to find seats, there were a few seats that were free and so Lilliana and I took those seats. It will take quite some time to get to the amusement park since it's all the way on the other side of Sydney.

"Wake me up when we get there," she said and placed her head on my shoulder closing her eyes. As the train stopped at more stops, the more crowded it got.

There was an old lady who looked like she was in her 60s or 70s that was standing in front of Lilliana and I holding on to the pole. I tapped Lilliana's shoulders lightly to wake her up, she slowly opened her eyes and lifted her head off my shoulder, "Are we there already?"

I didn't answer her, I stood up and got the old lady's attention, "Would you like a seat?" She walked towards the seat, "thank you, young man," she said smiling. I returned the smile.

I stood in front of Lilliana, holding on to the bar above me, "That was very nice of you," she said.

The train halted as it reached the next stop. A few people got off, but a swarm of them got on, including a pregnant lady, which Lilliana immediately got up from her seat and gave it to her, "thank you," the woman said and sat down.

I smiled at her, "on the outside you're really sassy but on the inside, you're so kind."
"Should I take that as a compliment or not?" she said laughing.

"Wake me up when we get there." She placed her head on my chest and closed her eyes, I put my arm around her waist to ensure that she wouldn't fall over.

"Wake up!" I whisper-yelled shaking her, "We're almost there." She woke up and held on to the bar above us, "we get off at the next stop," I told her.

The train stopped at the station and the doors slide open. Lilliana and I jumped off of the train along with a crowd of people.

The two of us walked out of the train station and towards the amusement park. "We're finally here," she said as we reached the gate of the amusement park.

After we bought the tickets, we went straight to the dodgem carts first. The line was pretty long, we waited for quite a while. But, soon it was our turn, Lilliana hopped into the red and orange cart and I sat in the green and blue cart next to hers.

A bell rang, signalling that the game has started. I pressed on the pedal hard and zoomed in front of Lilliana. But, up ahead there was a bit of a 'traffic jam' and Lilliana soon caught up to me and crashed right into me on purpose.
"Lilliana, was that really necessary?"
"Uh duh, of course."

Once the 'traffic jam' cleared up I pressed on the pedal and ran away from Lilliana. She soon levelled with me and was about to overtake me. I moved slightly to the side bumping her and zoomed away.
"Felix!"
"And that's what you call revenge."

All the cars started to slow down by themselves and the bell rang again indicating that the game has ended.

I ran out the exit to wait for Lilliana, she soon came out as well.
"You're so evil," she said
"It's not my fault, you started it," I said with a tone of innocence.

On our way to a roller-coaster ride, we passed a food stand with churros, ice-cream and fairy floss.
"Felix," she tugged on my sleeve, "I want fairy-floss."
"I'll get it for you." Her face lit up as I said that.

She skipped to the stand almost leaving me behind.
"Blue or pink?" She asked me.
"Pink," I replied. She faced the staff, "one pink fairy-floss please," she said holding her index finger up.
"That's five dollars miss." I grabbed the pink five dollar note from my wallet and paid for the fairy-floss.
