"Are you still sick?" Chris said over the phone.

"Yup," I said finishing it off with a cough.

"Heh, sucks to be you."

"Chris, that doesn't help whatsoever."

"Well, does saying 'get well soon' help?"

"No..."

"I thought so. Anyway, I might come over to your place after school, is that okay with you?"

"Sure, whatever," I said as I started coughing again.

"Dude, you good?"

"Does it sound like I'm good?"

"Anyway, see you at your place later, I gotta go."

"See you then."

"Bye," He said and hung up.

My cold is getting better but I still feel like shit.

Since I've got so much time on my hand, I might as well try and finish my assignments for once. I grab my notebooks and my laptop out of my bag and started working on my assignment.

Although music can distract you from concentrating, who cares? I plugged my phone into my speakers and blasted music.

I looked at the pages in front of me and got to work.

Ancient Rome? Why do we need to learn about the past if we're in the present?

I finished my history task within two hours, I've done more work in the last two hours than I have for the past week. I need to learn how to not procrastinate, honestly. But, it doesn't end there. I've still got maths homework and an English essay.

Lord, save me.

For the next few hours, my brain is just filled with useless knowledge. The Cartesian plane, algebra, persuasive text etc.

"So, what does it feel like to experience near-death?" Chris asked trying to be funny while pouring the two of us a glass of water.
"Really fun," I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes, "can I copy your notes from class?"
"It's not my fault you weren't at school." He walked back to the sofa where I was sitting and placed the glasses on the coffee table.
"Well, it's not my fault I got sick either Chris."
"Okay, I'll lend you my notes, geez. I was just kidding," he said and reached for his bag pulling out a few notebooks, "it is kind of your fault. I bet you only wore that t-shirt and sat in the freezing cold."
"Were you stalking me?"
"Ew, why would I stalk you? You're not worth my time." I ignored that comment and tried to write down the pages of notes down as fast as I can.

Then, the doorbell rang. "Who's that?" Chris asked
"Probably Lilliana." He walked to the door and opened it, I was right, it was Lilliana.

She came walking into the living room with Chris following behind.

"Is your cold getting better?" Lilliana asked.
"Yeah," I replied plainly without taking my eyes off the notes as I continue to copy them down into my own notebook.

She sat down next to me and gave me a peck on the cheek, now my cheeks are flushed red. "I thought you didn't want to catch a cold?" I finally turned to face her.
"Yeah but I just want your attention for a bit," she explained with a cheeky smile.

Chris POV

Do they still realise I'm in the room?

I finally know how it feels like to be a third-wheeler.

"Ahem," I faked a cough, the two turned their head to face me in sync, "just to remind you two, you guys are not the only people in this room, thank you very much."
"Sorry, mate," Felix said showing a sheepish smile and Lilliana just scratches the back of her head before Felix returned to copying his notes.

As much as I want to leave the two lovebirds alone, I'm still going to need my notebooks back. The room was filled with awkward silence as we waited for Felix to finish copying the pages of notes.

"Done!" Felix almost yelled breaking the silence in the room.
"Jesus Christ! Felix, that gave me a heart attack," Lilliana said.
"Now that you're finished with that," I said reaching out to grab my notebooks, "I'm gonna get going now."
"Already?" Felix asked.
"Yup."

I placed the notebooks back in my bag and swung it over my shoulder. "See you later!" I waved the two goodbyes and they waved back. I walked out of the door with a smirk on my face.

I hope Felix likes his present.

Felix POV

I walked to my room with Lilliana following behind. I opened my door and what I saw on my bedside table made me immediately close it again.

"What's wrong?" Lilliana looked up at me and asked.
"No-nothing," I replied stuttering a little, "you should get home earlier, your parents might be worried about you."
"Felix, it's four o'clock. What's in there anyway?"
"Something you definitely don't want to see."

She looked at me arms crossed, putting all her weight on to one foot looking like she's contemplating about something. "Fine, I trust you," after a while, she finally blurted out, "I'm a bit tired anyway, I'm gonna go home."

I followed her to the door. "Are you coming to school tomorrow?" She asked
"Yeah, probably."
"Well, see you at school then," she said and walked out the door.
"Bye." I waved at her and closed the door.

Thank god she didn't see it.

I walked back into my room and picked up the box of condoms that was left on my bedside table. What the fuck?! It's even king sized and strawberry flavoured.

It had a sticky-note stuck to the box that read, 'Have fun, from Chris ;)' I scrunched up the note and threw it in the garbage bin along with the unopened box of condoms.

Is he out of his mind?!

We're still minors, I'm literally only sixteen years old what does he think he's doing?

Someone's gonna be murdered tomorrow, that's for sure.

Whelp, I just realised I accidentally made Felix break the law. You're not allowed to stay home for that long by yourself unless you are 18, and Felix is only 16 in this book...anyway, just go with the flow.

Another thing, why are there so many flippin' comebacks recently, I don't even have time to heal after each comeback. SM just dropped NCT's comeback and I can't breathe.
