"Felix! Come on! You'll miss your flight!" Dad yelled from the garage, "Chris's waiting for you at the airport already!"
"I'm coming!"I quickly finish brushing my teeth, putting on a coat and a pair of shoes. I rushed to the garage and hopped in the front passenger seat of the car.
"Got everything?" Dad asked. "Yup." With that, we sped off to the airport.
Luckily, we don't live too far away from the airport, meaning I probably won't be late. Probably.
Once we arrived at the airport, dad helped with the luggage and placed them on a luggage trolley. Before he left he pulled me into a tight hug and I hugged him back.
"Please come back soon," he said, a tear falling from his eyes. "I will."
I glanced at my watch, I only had half an hour left. I still need to get through security and I will need to check in. "Go, before you miss your flight," he said and pushed me away.
I nodded and pushed my trolley to the check-in counter to check in my luggage.
After I checked in my luggage and got through security I only had five minutes until the plane takes off.
I ran and ran to the gate of my flight with only my backpack on my back.
I just made it.
I walked in, and the first thing I saw was the business class seats. I continued to walk to the back of the plane trying to find my seat in the economy section. Well, I was trying to find Chris as we will be sitting together. Near the very back of the plane, I saw someone waving to me and sure enough, it was Chris.
"Bro, you're late," he said once I sat down and buckled my seat belt. "If I was late I wouldn't be on this plane would I?"
"Fine, you're almost-late," he said emphasising 'almost'.Before the plane took off, the staff did what they had to do. Go through the safety issues. Things such as; 'please stay seated when the plane is taking off or landing', or 'your life jacket is located under your seat' etc. They showed the passengers how to use the oxygen masks and life jackets.
After all that fuss, the plane finally took off.
As we were rising I had a very uncomfortable feeling in my ears, they felt like they needed to pop. "Gum?" Chris offered when he saw me being uncomfortable. "Thanks." I took it and chewed on it.
Miraculously, it helped me pop my ears and I felt much better.
But, that's not important anymore. Once we were in the air and flying, I felt uncomfortable again. The fear of experiencing what mum had to, washed over me.
I was scared.
"Would you like a drink or snack?" the flight attendant asked. I requested a cup of soda, trying to take my mind off of everything.
It didn't last long.
For almost the whole nine hour trip I was just scared and uncomfortable. I told Chris about it, but, what can he do about it? Nothing.
I tried the aeroplane food, distracting me from my fear. It tasted horrible but it was worth it to take mind off of my new fear.
As Chris and I were sitting on the sides of the plane, we had a window. Every now and then I would look through the window.
I tried to sleep, but all I could think was all the bad and negative things that have been happening to me these past few weeks.
Mum, Lilliana, dad and even worse, my new fear.
Once the plane had landed I felt relieved. I felt like I could finally breathe again.
Once Chris and I stepped out of the plane, the humid air hit me like a brick in the face.
I knew this was going to happen but I can't get used to it so suddenly. I was wearing some really tight jeans which weren't helping. Due to my sweat, I could feel my jeans starting to stick to me like a second layer of skin.
But, lucky me I packed a spare pair of shorts in my bag.
The two of us continued walking until we saw a bathroom which didn't take long. I rushed in wanting to change my jeans badly. I can't stand it anymore, it feels weird.
We went to get our luggage from the luggage belt. It didn't take long for me to find my suitcase as it stood out pretty well. It was a dark blue suitcase with loads of Ryan stickers on it.
Whereas Chris took a long time to find his. His suitcase was black, and so is almost every other suitcase.
Suddenly, my stomach grumbled. "Hungry? Let's go get some food together," Chris said giggling a little. We found a fast food restaurant and so we decided to eat there. Neither of us knew how to speak Korean so it was an absolute pain to try and order food.
I just wanted chicken, that's all I ask for.
I spoke to the staff in broken English slowly and as clear as I possibly can. After all that effort I managed to order a couple fried chicken wings.

I stared at the JYP building in awe.
This is where I'll be training to be an idol.
But first, we had to dump all our luggage at our new dorm.
Chris signalled for a taxi to pull over. The taxi pulled over and I hopped in the back seats while Chris hopped in the front passenger seat handing the taxi the address that we were given.
In no time we arrived at our dorm.
I pulled out the keys that were also given to us and unlocked the door.
And immediately we were greeted by seven other people. I guess they already live here. They said something in Korean but neither of us understood. Then, this dude from the back came walking up to Chris and me, "welcome!" he said in English with a smile. I'm guessing he's the only one that can speak English?
We walked in and suddenly they all tried to speak in English. It was really broken but I could understand what they were saying.
"You guys room, here," the one that seemed to be the oldest said.
I walked into the room and it was already prepared For Chris and me. I dumped my suitcase and bag to the side and flopped on to the bed.
So, this is my new life. My life as a trainee.
