Roll, roll, roll. Wall. Roll back, roll, roll, roll, roll. Wall. I've been rolling on the floor out of boredom for a while now, why is she still not here? Maybe she won't be coming. I'll wait for another five minutes maybe.

She probably won't be coming, why am I still waiting? It's been twenty minutes. I should just leave. I picked up my bag and I was about to leave, but Lilliana appeared out of nowhere and she ended up bumping her head onto my chest and fell on to the floor.

This looks like that scene in a drama where the male protagonist is about to lend a hand to the female protagonist and then pull her into his embrace. Then, they slowly lean in for a kiss. Yeah?

But I didn't, I just left her there. That would just be gross.

"Why is your chest rock hard? Also, where are you going? I thought you wanted me to come."

"You were late by twenty minutes, I was getting impatient."
"Anyway, now that I'm here you're not going anywhere."

Well, duh I won't leave, now that you're here.

She walked straight to the piano and put a piece of music on the stand.

"Okay, I'll play it through once and then I'll teach you just so you know what it sounds like."
"Right."

She played the piece smoothly and beautifully. It was moments before I drowned in the melodic music.

She finished the piece and patted the space beside her signalling me to sit down next to her.

"Try playing the whole piece, then I'll correct you when you make a mistake."

I just nodded in response.

The rest of lunch was just her teaching me piano and correcting my mountain load of mistakes.

"You can keep that piece of music," she said as we both walked down the corridor, "I don't need it."

"Who's that girl with Felix?" I heard some not-so-whisper whispers from the three girls near us. Geez, their skirts are a little too short.
"It better not be his girlfriend. She doesn't deserve someone like him." Another said.

I think Lilliana heard it too, her reaction was surprising.

"Yes, it's true I don't deserve someone like Felix," she said as she walked over to the group of girls that are being irritating "but, I'm better than you so you don't deserve him either."

I was shocked, never in a million years would I have thought to hear that coming out of her mouth. Never in an eternity would I have thought she'd praise me.

Lilliana left the girls and walked back to me, "Let's go."
"Did you just praise me? Or did you just put me above you?"
"No."
"Yes, you did."
"That's just to piss those girls off."
"What did they do to you?"
"I hate those really 'girly' girls that gossip and talk behind people's back all day long."
"Oh..."

I felt a bit of disappointment, I don't know why which is why I tried to change the subject.

"What do you have next?"
"French class."
"Really?" No year ten classes have language classes during this time of day.

So, she's not in year ten then? Well, that makes sense, I always thought she was a little small to be in year ten.

"Which year are you in?" She looked at me with an I-thought-you-knew face, "just answer the question."
"I'm in year eight you idiot."

She's flippin' younger than me by two years, assuming she didn't repeat or skip a year of course. Then the bell goes.
"See you later," I said
"Hope I don't see you later."

What the...

~~~~
I'm the last one to leave the classroom, Lilliana probably already caught the early bus and is home already.
I was walking to the bus stop but I heard some noises behind the main block, I can't make out what it is or what's happening. But because I'm nosy and annoying I peak around the corner to see what's going on.
What the fuck.
It's those girls from lunch with Lilliana. I observed a little and what I saw was just madness. The blonde was holding Lilliana by the collar and was holding her jaw tightly. It looked really painful
"That little mouth of yours is pretty smart. How dare you do that to us in front of Felix. You need a punishment." Little did they know I was right here.
The other two girls were about to pour a bottle of orange juice into Lilliana's bag.
Should I help Lilliana?
There's no reason for me to help her, but I'll feel guilty if I don't.
Okay, I'll help.
I stepped out in front of them, "what are you three doing to her?" there was a slight pause before the blonde spoke up
"It's not what it looks like Felix," the blonde said trembling. I'm assuming she's like the 'leader', it feels like she's always commanding the other two.
"Then why are you holding her by the collar and you two look like you're about to pour the juice into her bag? Explain, please."
"Oh, she had something on her collar, it's gone now. We were gonna give her a bottle of juice but now I see, we forgot the lid," that was a terrible lie.
What cowards, can't even admit what they've done, it made me furious.
"Leave," I said trying to contain the anger.
"But-"
"Leave, before I fucking slice your neck open!" I raised my voice and the three scattered away.
Once they were out of sight I turned to Lilliana, "Are you okay?" I said as I spun her around to check for any injuries. She stopped me.
"Why did you help me? You didn't have to." Her voice soft and slightly trembling.
"I'm being a good Samaritan." I smiled
"Don't, you don't have to, you don't need to."
"Why?"
"There is no 'because', just don't"
She grabbed her stuff from the ground and walked away leaving me standing here like a stone statue and confused. I didn't get a thing she just said.
~~~~

What did she mean? I'm so confused. Are all girls like this? I asked myself these questions over and over again as I replayed that scene in my head for the five hundredth time. I screamed into my pillow.

I just don't get it.

It doesn't make sense.

"Hey Fely, are you alright there?" I can tell from the deep voice, it's dad.

"No."
"What's wrong?"
"I don't get it."
"What don't you get?" I sat up on my bed cross-legged as dad made his way to sit on my bed.

"When you were dating mum, was she hard to understand sometimes or maybe her logic wasn't logical?"
"Oh yeah, it still happens now. Why do you ask?"

I stayed silent, I didn't know how to answer him.

"Do you have a crush on a girl?" He teased as a sinister smile crept on his face, I blushed from that comment and threw the pillow I was holding at him.
"Hell no!"

There's no way I'd like Lilliana, that's just wrong and disgusting.

There's no way.

But there's still a chance it can actually happen, right?

You never know what fate has in stored for anyone.

A/N

Well, it's been a while again since I've updated. But, does it look like I care? Oh right, you can't see me.

Anyways, I have the motivation to write this book again. Hooray. *confetti explosion*

Vote or something. Actually, you don't have to, but you might as well since you're wasting you're time reading this Author's Note and this book.
