After All This Time

Patrice's POV

"San ba kasi tayo pupunta babe? I haven't even packed my luggage yet!"

"Your bridesmaids did so you don't have to worry about that."

Napanganga ako.

"My bridesmaids packed my things?! Oh my gosh! Now you made me 10 times worried!! Abnormal pa naman ang mga yun! Baka mamaya, wala silang nilagay na damit dun!"

"Eh di maghubad na lang tayo pareho dun."

Ngumiti siya at nag-taas baba ng kilay niya tapos tumawa. I rolled my eyes and punched him on the arm.

"Babe, oo nga pala. Why are we the only ones in the plane?"

"Huh? Hindi lang naman tayo. We're just flying first class."

"What?! Ricci! Ang gastos mo!"

"Wag kang mag-alala babe, sponsored tong flight tickets natin HAHAHA!"

Kahit ako natawa sa sinabi niya. Kaya pala ang lakas ng loob mag-first class, sponsored daw ng isang airline. Dahil na rin siguro sa sobrang pagod, nakatulog kami pareho.

Naramdaman ko na lang na hinahalikan ni Ricci ang pisngi ko kaya nagising ko.

"Wake up, babe."

"Where are we?"

"Malaysia. Pero this is not our main destination. May lay-over lang for 10 hours."

"Napaka-tagal naman na lay-over nun, Ricci."

"I know. I already prepared a place that we could stay in habang nag-hihintay for our next flight."

Nung matapos na kami sa airport at nakuha na namin ang luggage namin, lumabas na kami ng airport. A guy in a suit was holding a sign with my husband's name. Agad kaming lumapit sa kanya. He helped us with our luggages tapos pinasakay kami sa sasakyan.

When we reached the hotel, we were welcomed by their staff and they immediately attended to us. I looked at the time sa clock nila dito sa lobby. It was already 1 am. Umalis kami ng Pilipinas ng around 10:30 pm.

"Babe, let's go."

Tinulungan ako ni Ricci tumayo sa pagkaka-upo ko sa couch sa lobby tapos sumunod na kami sa bellboy na may dala ng bags namin. When we reached the room and Ricci opened the door, I quickly went inside and scanned the room. There was a king-sized bed, a mini-living room, a kitchen and a huge ass bathroom.

Nung narinig kong sinara ni Ricci ang pinto, I turned to him.

"Bakit ang laki ng room na kinuha mo babe?"

"Babe believe me when I say na nagulat din ako."

I smiled at him.

"Sponsored?"

"HAHAHA yeah. Sorry babe pero promise yung susunod na destination, ako na lahat yun."

Naglakad siya palapit sakin and pulled me by the waist.

"Baka sabihin mo tinitipid ko ang homeymoon natin kasi sponsored yung airfare and this room."

"Baliw. Gusto ko nga yun eh HAHAHA. Sarap kaya pag libre!!"

Natawa kami pareho.

"Yan gusto ko sayo eh."

He gave me a kiss on the lips. I pulled away when I remembered about my luggage.

"I need to check my maleta, babe. Baka kung ano-ano ang nilagay nila Lexine dun. Para kung sakali, makabili pa ko bago tayo umalis."

Pumunta ako sa maleta ko tapos si Ricci dumiretso sa may dining table. I entered the code and opened the luggage. Napahinga ako ng maluwag nung makita ko ang pagkaka-ayos ng gamit ko. Everything was in their proper pouch. I have this weird habit of packing and segregating my things in different small bags. Binuksan ko ang isang malaking pouch at nakita ang mga shorts and tank tops ko. The other pouch were swimsuits tapos ang isa naman ay ang undergarments ko. Binuksan ko ito at nagulat. Sabi ko na nga ba eh! They packed lacy underwears and bras. Meron pang black lingerie dito! Damn. Hindi talaga ako makakaligtas sa mga yun. Well at least they've packed me decent clothes tapos pati essentials ko, nandito rin.
