Chapter 24. The Sound of your Heart

Jisoo's P.O.V

I got ready for today. I wore a denim dress with floral embroidery on it and some white sneakers. I waited for Jungkook in front of the amusement park. I already got tickets for the Viking Ship ride. I waited outside the bars. After 30 minutes of waiting, I saw him running towards me. "I'm sorry I'm late." He said.

"Nah, it's fine. Let's go?"

"Yeah. Let's get it!"

We took our seats on the very back. The Ship started to sway faster and faster. Unexpectedly, Jungkook liked riding it. He was a scaredy cat when he first rode it. After the ride, he went for one more ride. We ride the rides that we both rode before. It's really weird that he's not scared anymore and he is enjoying it. We took a break after 2 rides. He suddenly bought 2 big churros; one for me and one for him.

"Delicious?" he asked.

I nodded.

*ring* *ring*

Jungkook took out his phone and saw President Jo calling him. He just turned it off and put his phone back. "Why didn't you answer it?" I asked. "I'm with you. I will spend my time for you only." He said.

"But still. It might be important."

"Are you sure?" he asked. I nodded. He took his phone back and called back President Jo. He went far away and talked to President Jo. He didn't look so good while talking to him. He went back and sat with me. "Is something wrong?" I asked.

"I need to go back to the studio." He said.

"Is it that urgent?''

"Yeah."

"Then, let's go."

"Wait, our date hasn't ended yet. We still have one ride. Let's finish that first before leaving."

"Okay. If you say so."

We went for our last ride and went straight to Dream Entertainment. I followed Jungkook. He went inside the meeting room. I was about to go inside too but the guard blocked my way. "I'm sorry, Ms. Kim, but only Mr. Jeon can enter." He said. I saw President Jo, the producers, his manager and Yeeun?? Why is she there? I just went straight home taking the bus.

I am very grateful that we get to spend time together even if it's a little while but I am very grateful to be with him. I did some operation cleaning on my apartment. I did my laundry, cleaned my whole closet, cleaned the kitchen, rubbed the bathroom tiles, vacuumed the screen windows and etc. I cleaned the whole apartment for almost 3 and half hours. I keep on sweating and also sneezing because of the dust.

After cleaning, I took a shower and dressed up for the night. I suddenly heard footsteps from upstairs. Jungkook must be home already. I quickly rushed upstairs. I slowly opened his door and popped my head inside and sneaked if Jungkook was inside. I saw him inside his kitchen, opening a bottle of beer. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"Oh, you're here!" he said.

"Why are drinking alone? Is there something wrong? Are you okay?" I asked.

"Nothing. It's just that; I'm tired." He said.

I came closer to him and hugged him tightly and patted him back. "It's okay. I'm here." I said. He hugged me back; tighter. "Thank you, Jisoo. I am very lucky to have you." He said.

"Of course. I can do this all my life until you become okay."

"Seriously, I am really lucky to have you." He said. He pecked my forehead, down to my nose and then my lips. "I am also lucky to have you."
