Chapter 18: Cursed in love

Arnav: Lavanya is my wife and no one have authority to point finger on my love..He concluded giving his final glare leaving a shattered khushi.

Her everything finished by his one single statement. His words reverberated in her mind and then everything black out. She collapse on the ground. Arnav ran to held her but stopped abruptly letting her to fall down for the first time.

At midnight:

Khushi who was sleeping from last night are probably trying to open her eyes. Her inside breaking and a painful tears rolling from her face unstoppably even being in slumber. She forcefully open her eyes and trying to identify the place where she is in. In just few hours her life taken drastic change which she cannot rotate. The bitter truth that she meant NOTHING to her husband shaken her. What about her unborn? What is his future without fatherly love? She cried hugging herself. Her eyes keep widening as she face the reality of her life. She is not in her room but in Nani's room.

She move her head hearing the soft voice. She found nani sitting beside her applying oinment to her injury which she got while falling. Khushi try to wake up.

Nani: Ap theek ho na...? She place pillow behind her back settling her properly while her eyes keep looking at the door.

Khushi: Arnav..ji.. (Nani get mumb)

She hold Nani hand and asked her hopelessly. 'Where is he? Hame unke pas jana hain..'' (I want to see him.

Nani: Khushi betiya you need rest..I will call the doctor.. With that She took the phone and began dialing the number. .. Due to weak health, she fell back to the same position.

Khushi: No nani..i am absolutely fine..She instantly snatched phone from her.

Nani: Nahi betiya..you are not fine..just look at yourself..you are looking so weak and pale and last night you get fainted..

Khushi: Woh..i hadn't eaten may be due to starvation.. she stammered .

Nani: But..

Khushi: Naniji please..hum sach mein theek hain..Arnavji kaha hain..bataiye na.. (I am alright..where is Arnavji?)

Nani feel really bad, she didn't know how to tell her the truth. At present she is not well so she try to hide it but khushi suspect the tension on her face. She grip her hand tightly.

Tell me Naniji..woh theek toh hain na..Kahi unhe kuch.. (Is he alright..does anything happen to..) Nani look away feeling really bad seeing so much love and longing in her eyes for him.

This innocent girl is suffering without any fault, Don't know how she is going to react, does she able to bear the truth? She have no courage to break her heart but she can't hide it either.

She look at khushi tearfully and caress her face who is struggling to stand on her feet. Her eyes were only searching to caught one glimpse of him. But he is no where. It hurts her that he didnt came to check her if she is fine or not and she could not fathom what is wrong with him. They were so much content and esthatic in their lives but one storm came and everything turns upside down.

Whatever happened last night was just a bad nightmare, Indeed she was dreaming, She convince herself and her breathe returned to normal thinking everything is fine.

Nani try to calm her but she is insisting her to take her to him. Unaware to her, he don't care about her at all. She live or die it doesn't matter to him. All he care only about lavanya. Not once he thought before rejecting khushi in front of people who did so much for him. Nani sobbed worried about her future that is almost destroyed.
